No flirting with Goat Mom!!!!
You take your mobile out of your pocket and examine it. It was like a silver brick with a small screen and large buttons. You mess around for it for a while before sitting cross legged in the leaves. Accidently you dial Toriel."This is Toriel" She says soft.
"Ugh...hi Toriel!" You stutter not wanting to admit your mistake.
"You only wanted to say hello..? Well then. Hello! I hope that suffices" she giggles and you also let out a small chuckle at the womans silly action. Actully, now that you think about it, you don't really know much about yuor new friend.
"Hey, Toriel! Tell me about yourself!"
"You want to know more about me?" You notice she sounds uncertain but it quickly passes over. "Well, i'm afarid there's not much to say. I am just a silly little lady who worries to much!" You giggle again.
"I already knew that, mom!" You say before stopping your laughter instently. You can't believe you just said that. It just slipped out! Though, you do see Toriel as a mother figure as well as a friend, she would be a great mother if she had kids! The voice at the other end of the phone goes silent.
"Huh?" He finally answers and brethe a sigh of relief, you thought she had hung up for a second. "Did you just call me...mom? Well...I suppose..." You could almost see her blushing. "Would that make you happy? To call me...mother? Well then! Call me whatever you like!" You smile and hang up the phone. Bless her heart. You stand up from the leaves and look around the room. It looked like all the others. Suddenly your phones rintone goes off and you answer it. What could me the matter now?
"Hello? This is Toriel. You have not left the room, have you?"
"...Yes"
"There are a few puzzles ahead that I have yet to explain. It would be dangerous to try and solve them yourself."
"I can do it though, mom!" Toriel sighs.
"Be good, alright?" She says before handing up the phone. You shove it back in your pocket and go to meet the frog that has been staring at you the whole time.
"Excuse me, human" Your taken aback by the fact it can talk, can all things here talk? "Use some mercy, human" It mutters before staring at you once again in silence.
"Ugh...right, okay, sure...right" You say walking into the next room. "What was that about? I'm not hurting anyone!"
The ground in front of you looked cracked and broken but you can see the other side of the room. Slowly you take a couple steps and as soon as you put your weight onot a crack the ground crumbles beneth you. You scream as you fall and close your eyes waiting for impact. ONce again you land on something soft but the crunching beneth you makes you giggle. You had landed on some leaves. You pull your self up and head towards the door on the right and see the hole you fell into eariler on the other side of the room. You laugh and attemp to high-five yourself before heading into the next room.
Your phone begins to buzz in your pocket you you pick it up and open it swift.
"Hello? This is Toriel."
"Hiya goat mum!" She muffles a laugh.
"For no reason in particular...what do you prefer? Cinnamon or butterscotch?" You ponder this for a moment. Truthfully, you loved both but for the sake of the question...
"Bscotch!" You answer nodding your head even though she cant see you.
"Oh, I see, thank you very much!" And with that Toriel hangs up the phone. You walk a few more steps in thought of why she would ask such a random question. Bu then your phone rings again.
"Hello? This is Toriel.
"I know"
"You do not DISLIKE cinnamon, do you? I know what your prefrence is but...would you turn up your nose if you found it on your plate?"
"Oh, not at all! I love both!"
"Roght, right, I understand. Thank you for being patient, by the way." Toriel once again hangs up the phone and you giggle. Oh, Toriel, so sweet, yet so curious. You carry on into the room with a new found excitement. A button lays in from of you along with a large bolder and some spikes. Putting one and one together you push the rock onto the button before walking into the next room.
Every part of the room was cracked and knowing what happened last time did not make you want to concure this room. Yet you trudge on...before falling once again. You groan and get up tired of falling before you notice a sign at the other end of the room.
"Don't step on the leaves" You roll your eyes and carry on trying to find a path but each time falling once again. Finally after many tries you get across and walk into the next room only then realising the puzzle and facepalming yourself for being so dim.
The next room has 3 rocks, 3 buttons and a couple spikes. You once again put one and one together...or 3 and 3. Pushing the first two rocks was simple but the thrid...
"WHOA there, pardner! Who said you could push me around?" You are no longer surprised at the fact it can talk.
"Hey, can you move a little?"
"HMM? So you're ASKIN me to move over?"
"That is what I said"
"Okay, just for you, pumpkin." You don't know how to react to a rock flirting with you so you smile politely as it moves ever so slightly.
"Erm, hey, are you able to move a little more?"
"HMM? You want me to move some more?"
"...yes, do you mind not repeating what I say?"
"Alrighty, how's this?" The rock moves into the opposite direction of the button and you sigh in frustration.
"That was the wrong way, towards the button!"
"Hmm? That was the wrong direction?"
"...Stop"
"Okay, I think I got it." The rock shuffles towards the button and plants itself on it. You cheer.
"Thank you!" You hum before walking towards the wooden bridge. As your about to cross the spikes reappear almost killing you. You turn back towards the rock and see its no longer on the button. "Is this things trying tokill me?" You mutter. "Hey, can you stay there? I need tpo get across this bridge!"
"Hmm? You wanted me to STAY there?"
"Seriously, what are you? A parrot?"
"You're giving me a real workout" It mutter befor eonce again sliding onto the button. As quick as a flash you bolt across the bridge and into the next room just in case the rocks gets back to its tricks.
The next room is more peaceful and quiet. No puzzles, no challanges just...quiet. You notice a piece of cheese on a table but when you try to pick it up, you see it's stuck to the table. Ew. You notice a little mouse hole and smile before crutching down and pering into it. The mouse inside squeks with fright making you giggle. Seeing it's scared you stand back up and admire the room inhaling deeply. It smells like mouldy cheese.
The thought of the mouse might one day leave its hole and get the cheese makes you smile. You are ready for the next chapter.
