Enter The Rest of The Gang 3rd Person's POV
Inuyasha got up from his crater, muttering curses under his breath at Kagome. Kagome only spared him a glare, before turning to Mayori.
"Come with me, I want to introduce you to Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Kirara." Kagome started walking away, waving a hand behind her and gesturing for Mayori to follow.
Mayori started, and scrambled after her, wanting to be formally introduced to the other people mentioned in her mother's stories.
'Sango the Legendary Demon Slayer, and her husband, the Holy High Priest Miroku, were actually my ancestors. Those two might be very interesting to see in the days before they became legends.
And Kirara, the Two-Tailed Demon Cat, who served both the Priestess Midoriko and Sango would be an amazing honour to meet. Also Shippo, the great Lord of the Kitsune, who was the only Kitsune Lord to have a priestess human mother. He seems interesting,' Mayori thought.
She trailed after Kagome for about half an hour through the forest, before coming out into a large clearing with a very old tree growing in the center of it. Around that tree ('Probably the famous Goshinboku that Inuyasha was sealed to,' Mayori absently thought) sat a diverse, small group.
Firstly, there was a large cream-colored demon cat with black marking on it's feet and tails (yes, tails) that vaguely resembled a sabertooth tiger in size, shape, and teeth.
Secondly, there was a tiny boy who was probably the size of a large basketball with carrot-orange hair pulled into a ponytail at the nape of his neck, and a large, puffy orange tail. He seemed to be thoroughly enjoying a lollipop, and paying no attention whatsoever to his surroundings.
Thirdly, there was a woman with long brown hair and a giant boomerang on her back who was contently leaning against the demon cat with a small smile on her peaceful, happy face.
And lastly, a monk. He had black hair, blue eyes, a staff, and seemed to be suffering from a recent slap to the face as he sulked by himself as far away from the woman as he could be while still being in the clearing.
Kagome pointed them out one by one, naming the cat as Kirara (Mayori wasn't surprised, the demon cat lived up to her legend just by looks a lot alone), the small boy as Shippo, the woman as Sango, and the man as Miroku. By the end of it, Mayori's face was one of shock. None of them (sans Kirara) was anything like she expected.
