My mother taught me to face everything with a smile, even if I don't like it, even if I feel like raging or crying.
So that's what I'll do. I'll smile at everyone, I'll be helpful, I'll be kind. I'll be there for people if they need a shoulder to cry on, or advice, or just a warm hug. I'll be there if people need someone to talk to, someone to help them work through their problems.
Even if I just want to up and quit, I'll keep going. As long as there are still people around me See More who notice, I'll smile. I'll laugh, I'll make jokes, I'll listen to them talking about their lives. I'll be a good friend, a good listener, a good person.
I'll be happy, only on the outside, for you. But I won't really be there. You'll be laughing with a fake, talking to a replacement, pouring out your troubles and crying to a mask. I'm sorry. But at least you get a smile, even if it is fake.

But, then again, I bet no one will actually see this, or read it. And even if they do, no one will remember who I am, or care.
