Temple of the Forgotten

There are people in this world, very few of them, who have the abilities to defy gravity, test reality, and entirely break the laws of physics. They were helpful. They saved lives. They were accepted and treated as normal people, but people change. They turn on you. They cheat, lie, but they took it to another level. They soon began treating them like animals. But a small group of people wanted to help them. Save them. They erased their memories and sent them to an island, not yet discovered by the rest of humanity. It seems like a paradise at first, but in reality, it is crawling with demons, monsters, vengeful spirits. In order to create a safe, peaceful place to live, they have to fight these creatures.   They entered the diner. It was supposed to look like it was from the 70´s or something. There were a lot of bright colors, old records decorating the walls, and life sized cardboard cutouts of various singers and actors. It was unusually busy today. Almost every table was occupied and you would barely be able to hear your own thoughts over the loud chatter of all the customers. Sam scanned the crowd and after a minute or two, spotted David, Brandon, and someone else...
   They walked over to them. Sam gave them both a hug and shook hands with the stranger. Jaiden did nothing like that. She just stood there, examining the stranger. She was a young girl that looked to be about seventeen. She had reddish brown hair and eyes of the same color. She wore a light blue tee shirt and dark blue jeans. She sat, legs crossed and slightly hunched over.
  David looked toward Sam and Jaiden.
¨ This is Ellie. ¨ He pointed at the girl.
¨ We met her at Gamestop about a week ago. ¨
Ellie slightly raised her right hand, giving them a half assed wave.
