Temple of the Forgotten

There are people in this world, very few of them, who have the abilities to defy gravity, test reality, and entirely break the laws of physics. They were helpful. They saved lives. They were accepted and treated as normal people, but people change. They turn on you. They cheat, lie, but they took it to another level. They soon began treating them like animals. But a small group of people wanted to help them. Save them. They erased their memories and sent them to an island, not yet discovered by the rest of humanity. It seems like a paradise at first, but in reality, it is crawling with demons, monsters, vengeful spirits. In order to create a safe, peaceful place to live, they have to fight these creatures. Even if it means putting their lives on the line...

After they got ready, Sam grabbed the keys and unlocked his car. It was a blue-silver 2016 impala, it was used, and the previous owner didnt take the best care of it, but it was all he could afford at that time. He got in the drivers side and Jaiden got in the passenger side. A thought suddenly occurred to Sam. He had never in his life, seen Jaiden drive a car.
¨ Jaiden, you never drive. why dont you drive this time?¨
Jaiden shot him a scary look.
  ¨ Okay, okay. Nevermind...¨
Jaiden noddded. Sam started up the car and turned the air conditioner on and all that and they were off. When they were about halfway there, he turned on the radio. He found a station he liked. It played EDM and dubstep . Jaiden shook her head and turned it to a different station. This one played bands like Panic! at the Disco, My Chemical Romance, twenty one pilots, Paramore, and other bands like that. She listened to Tyler Joseph´s screaming voice fill both the car, and the space in her chest. She loved the feeling.
¨ How do you listen to this? It sounds like he´s being murdered! ¨
Jaiden, fought back a snappy, rude comback and instead, calmly said,
¨ I listen to this music because it has meaning. You might hear screaming, but I hear a story, but these lyrics aren´t for everyone. Only few understand, ya know? ¨
Sam was shocked. He had never seen Jaiden explain anything that calmly.  She usually just made some sarcastic, rude comment and never really explained anything.
¨ Okay.. ¨ Sam said. ¨ But after this song ends, I want to listen to my music again. I am the driver after all, and you know what they say?¨
Jaiden looked at him blankly.
¨ They say, driver picks the music. ¨
Sam smiled and Jaiden rolled her eyes and went back to listening to the song.
In just a few minutes, they arrived at the restraunt. It wasnt anythinng too special. Just a local café.
Sam got out of the car, happy to be visiting Brandon and David again. It had been a few weeks since he last saw them. Jaiden, however wasnt so excited. She always acted weird around them, like she thought they were criminals or something.
She had always said something about them.
¨ Theyre the kind of people who turn on you.¨
Sam always told her that there was nothing to worry about. He said, they were good people. He had been telling her this since they first met 4 years ago, but she still seemed reluctant..
