Temple of the Forgotten

There are people in this world, very few of them, who have the abilities to defy gravity, test reality, and entirely break the laws of physics. They were helpful. They saved lives. They were accepted and treated as normal people, but people change. They turn on you. They cheat, lie, but they took it to another level. They soon began treating them like animals. But a small group of people wanted to help them. Save them. They erased their memories and sent them to an island, not yet discovered by the rest of humanity. It seems like a paradise at first, but in reality, it is crawling with demons, monsters, vengeful spirits. In order to create a safe, peaceful place to live, they have to fight these creatures. Even if it means putting their lives on the line...

Sam waved back.
¨ Hey. ¨
¨ Go ahead and sit down.¨ David motioned to two empty chairs, each with a menu on the table in front of them. They sat. Sam leaned on the back of the chair and rested his left foot on his right thigh, and began chatting with Brandon and David right away. Jaiden sat hunched over and stood her menu up on the table in front of her face, forming a little partition between everyone else and herself. She put in a pair of earbuds and swayed slightly to the tune of ¨Helena¨.
After a few minutes, a waitress came to take their orders. Brandon and David split a hamburger, Ellie ordered a blt sandwich, and Sam ordered cheeseburger sliders off the childrens´ menu even though he was twenty. After everyone else had ordered, she looked at Jaiden.
¨ And for you sweetie?¨
Jaiden hated pet names like that. especially ¨sweetie.¨
¨ I dont- I dont want anything.¨
Jaiden cringed at hearing herself talk. She hated her voice.
¨ Alrighthy. ¨ said the waitress ¨ Your orders will be out shortly. ¨
She took their menus. Including Jaiden´s
After she left, Ellie turned towards Jaiden.
¨ Are you gonna introduce yourself? ¨ she asked.
¨ No.¨
