Chapter 8: A dream becomes a vision

**Jorja's POV**

Strolling around the town, all I see are robot followers. The count for regular Mobians have decreased now due to the other followers detecting them. Something inside me should be happy, that we're increasing in numbers, and Sonic the Hedgehog has finally lost, but at the same time, I feel guilt. Something keeps telling me that I'm better than to listen to Eggman. And in truth, I am better. He wanted me to find Jackie and bring her back to the base...
But doing that won't be enough. Follower or no, Jackie must never see the light of day again. Whether I'm under Eggman's orders or not, I have to break free from controls and do my own deed: I will kill Jackie the Hedgehog, no matter what Eggman says.
"JOrjA?"
I turn around and see one of Jackie's old friends, Sapphire.
"HI saPPhiRE."
"YOu fINalLY haVE a mISsiON thEN?"
I nod. "ONly TO caPTurE My aNTi, jACkiE." And it's something I'm adding a little twist to...
"YOu aRE so LUckY ThaT You'RE goINg tO Get REveNGe oN YouR AntI," Sapphire replies.
"OH shUSh, iT'S noT ThaT Big OF a dEAl."
"PErhAPs i CAn hELp?"
"SUre, WHat DO we HAve TO loSE?"

**Jackie's POV**

With all the rebels and regular Mobians safely moved in at Dauntless, the compound has now become our main base, as it contains housing for everything, areas to practice training (both weapon and physical), and an area to help us to conquer any fears we may have about this.
It's night time, and even though I want to sleep, I'm scared that I will end up in the same nightmare as the previous nights. But in no time at all, my eyes shut tight, sending me into the world of dream.

I find myself in a corridor of Eggman's base. A corridor swarming with robot followers, and yet they pass through me. I must be a ghost in this dream. Seeing all these followers who were once living Mobians, it all breaks my heart. How could Eggman do something as vile and cruel as this? These people were innocent, living beings, all flesh and bones.
One follower in particular catches my eye. She is my anti, Jorja the Hedgehog. And here she was, a robot follower, ready to obey the commands of Eggface. But she looks bored. Like she's waiting for just one assignment. And for the first time in my life, I feel sorry for my anti.
Ugh, what is with me? Why am I feeling remorse for my anti? It's not right!
Jorja finally senses a signal within her, a red light flashing, and I follow her as she runs towards a double door. Inside the room is a monitoring screen, similar to our type in the Dauntless Compound. On the screen now, is the leaders of Dauntless.
And me.
The chair turns, and sitting inside the chair, is none other than Baldy McNosehair himself. Jorja walks closer to the screen, obviously shocked that at the time this happened, I was found as a Mobian, flesh and bones, alive and well, and leading a rebellion group against Eggman - the Dauntless. Swift and Celina were also leaders in this (we voted that we'd all lead smaller groups, but ultimately lead together).
"JAckIE?" Jorja finally speaks. The tone of her voice supports the idea that she was surprised of my appearance on the screen.
"She's now a rebel leader. I want her in this base as soon as possible, and only you I can trust with her, Jorja," is Eggman's reply.
I should have known. Only someone like Jorja he'd trust with the assignment of my capture.
Well no way was I going to submit to him.
"UNdeRStoOD, maSTer," Jorja nods, and leaves the room, and I quickly follow her before the door closes.
She keeps walking to some sort of prison. A dark room, where 2 prisoners are revealed in cages that hang from the ceiling. In one cage sits Tails, sulking at the floor in disappointment. It's like he blames himself for letting this happen. But when I see the being in the other cage, I can feel myself shaking, my heart beating rapidly in fear.
It's Sonic. Sitting helpless in the cage, unsure of what to do. His eyes are swollen from tears, red cracks appearing. I want to tell him I'm here, but I am a ghost, so I can't.
"SUlkINg uP TheRE?" Jorja asks them.
"Why don't you shut up down there, Jorja?" Sonic shouts at her in anger.
"SO feISty."
"You even think of hurting my wife and I will kill you with my own hands!"
"TRy mE, BluE Boy." And at that, she walks out, and Sonic sighs.
I want to help him. Tell him it's okay.
But instead, I just wake up from the nightmare, to a shocked Lilac in front of me. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," I reply, sitting up. "Just a nightmare."
"We've found something you may not like. Eggman is holding two Mobians prisoner in his base. A yellow fox and a blue hedgehog."
So that nightmare was a vision is something that happened yesterday.
That means...
Sonic and Tails truly are being held prisoner.
And Jorja truly is looking for me.
