Chapter 7: The Anti

**Jorja's POV**

I don't know what's been happening these past couple of days. I felt a strong force inside of me, and watched as my body slowly became metal. I'm now a robot, under the control of Dr. Eggman. And though he seems cold-hearted on the outside, he's truly a sweet man to his loyal followers.
I still await for my first mission though. As I stroll through Eggman's base, I look around. It's quite empty, as most robots are out on their duties. I am about to sit in the corridors when I feel a signal inside me.
Could it be? I'm being called for?
I run as fast as my robotic legs can take. Back when I was a regular Mobian, I could run faster than this. At a speed that could match my anti's speed.
Yes, I admit. I am an anti.
As I arrive outside his control room, I stop to catch my breath. I am exhausted from running. Super speed is not one of my powers, unlike my anti.
Eggman is sitting at a counter when I walk in. On the screen, I can see damp and dark corridors, as if they're underground. Every few seconds, the screen changes, but it's still in the same area. And then, I see her.
My anti.
Jackie the Hedgehog.
"JAckIE?" I mutter to myself.
Eggman nods. "She's now a rebel leader. I want her in this base as soon as possible, and only you I can trust with her, Jorja."
I nod back. "UNdeRStoOD, maSTer."

**Jackie's POV**

As I emerge from the compound, rising from the ground, those exact same figures from the camera footage earlier are shown. I approach the two figures with caution, my hand ready to grab for my gun. One of them is a robot, though she looks familiar. The other, a Mobian I know all too well.
"Swift. Celina," I say. "Is that you?"
The robot turns around. "DOn't WOrrY, JacKIe, iT'S me, CEliNA," she says.
"Don't forget about your old friend," Swift adds, as she pulls me into an embrace.
"Thank God you guys are okay," I reply. "Found more people?"
"A Few MOre," Celina says. "HOw's THe dAUntLEss GRouP ComINg aLOng?"
"Going well. We're stronger than ever now." It is true. We are indeed stronger than we ever have been. But it still isn't enough. "But, I've thought about the deal you gave me."
"And?" Swift asks me.
"Even though we're strong," I reply, "and even though we can take care of ourselves, we'll still need an alliance, if we want to re-claim our world."
"SO, yoU'Re sAYinG ThaT You..."
I nod. "Yes. We should form an alliance. Are there any other robot rebels?"
"There are some, yes," Swift replies. "We're keeping them hidden, in safety."
"They'll be safer in Dauntless," I say. "As will other known Mobian survivors. I'll make sure they're given shelter and safety. You have my word, as Queen of Dauntless."
