Hidden Wings

Hidden Wings The stars twinkled brightly through out the dark night sky. With my white long hair laying on my back, my purple eyes noticed the moon hid its beautiful self. My blue t shirt hung tight on my large chest and small waist while my blue jean pants hug tight on my legs along with hiding my black boots. Standing on the porch, I decided to stare at the sky before walking into my small home. Our house was only big enough for mom, dad, and me while the house sat in a vast area of woods.

Something about the night sky lured me to stay in the dark. I always loved the darkness outside. I never knew why. My mother tells me I am a night owl, but I don't feel like that. Smiling at the night sky, I started to hear a strange rustling nosie coming the woods along with male voices. Now, I know I should not follow the noises because of my vast knowledge of horror movies. However, I realized how close I was to home, so if I was in trouble, my parents could save me.

Walking off the porch, I slowly and carefully followed the noises through the dark forest. The trees followed the cold wind as my boots stepped on top of leaves and twigs. In a few minutes, I heard the dark noises disappear. Still lost in the forest, I decided to keep walking when I stumbled across a broken down rusty barn. Feeling the cold wind freeze my skin, I made the choice to hurry into the barn to keep warm. The wood inside the barn was broken down with a scent of dust feeling the air. Cob webs hung on the walls and steps.

Adventuring through the barn, I discovered a bright warm light luring me into the selective back room. Turning the corner, I entered the candle lit room. Written on the floor was a circle with wings shaped inside. The wings were not just drawings, but strange symbols shaped into wings. The candles sat on top of the outside circle. Walking closer to the circle, I wondered what paint could be used to make such a dark and runny red.

Suddenly, I felt broad strong muscle wrapped around my little pale neck. The arms pressed right against my neck as the attackers breath brushed against the back of my neck. Goosebumps started rising down my arms and back as I felt my body relax to the attack. I do not get scared easy, so the guy would not get the pleasure of seeing me scared.

"Now, why would a beautiful young lady be in such a dangerous place?" The dark male voice uttered as I glimpse my purple eyes. For a split second, I show what I would guess as red eyes. Why would a guy have red eyes? I mean mine are rare because they are purple but still red eyes.

With what strength I could bring through my vocal cords, I said, "I suggest you let me go. If you kill me, too many people would search for me and catch you." What I just said is a major lie. Making friends is really difficult for me. I only have one true friend.

Crowds of laughter emerged from the shadows as dark figures walked closer into the candle light. They all had the same red eyes I thought the attacker had. What have I gotten myself into? Feeling his chest rise in laughter, I heard him comment, "Like we would let anyone find you. Ignorant girl."

Thinking carefully, I tried to figure out a way to escape. I was out numbered along with the attacker being stronger than me. From the looks of the muscles on the others and my attacker, I might have the upper hand when it comes to speed. "Even the craziest serial killers got caught." I mentioned still wondering how to get away from him.

"This one has some guts on her." A chuckle came from a dark figure walking closer to us. A fluffy red headed boy with broad strong muscles smirked at us. His black under armor shirt hugged firm on his large torso while his black jean pants fit tight on his firm legs. His black boots stomped closer to us while his red eyes locked on me with amusement. A normal girl would be terrified of this boy, but he did not scare me one bit. With our eyes connecting, I noticed a light bulb explode in his eyes as if he realized something. "Hold on, Marco. What might me your name?"

The boy grew closer as he pressed his finger under my chin raising my head up. "My name is Sage Thron." I corporated gritting my teeth at the smell of blood covering my nostrils. What are these boys?

The boy's smile curved brighter on his face as he snapped his fingers rapidly and loud. "Get her ready. We finally found her." The boy ordered as my attacked shoved me inside the circle. Confused, I tried to walk out of the circle, but my legs would not step over the circle. I felt like I was trapped.

"What is this?" I asked as the shadows started muttering a strange unknown language over and over. A laughter emerged from the boy as a devilish smile lured closer to me. The boy walked closer and closer to me as he walked into the circle. Standing ready to hear his excuse, I noticed him reaching into his pocket. A bright shiny switch blade sat in his hand. Backing away, I relaized I made it to the other side of the circle.

"Now, don't be scared, Sage. It will only hurt a lot! No worry. To make it feel better, I will tell you my name which is Flynn." Flynn's laugh exploded out of him as his large hand gripped my wrist and pulled it close to him. Feeling the sharp cut of the blade, I yelped in pain as blood started pouring down my wrist onto the symbols. As Flynn walked out, the symbols shaped into wings started glowing a bright red.

Not only did my wrist burn in pain, my whole entire body started to burn. Pain shot through my back in what felt like a V-shape while my head started shooting in pain. What just happened? Looking down at my wrist, my blood was not red any more but dark black. Screaming in pain, I noticed the white hair I had was turning into a dark black.

Within a few more minutes of agonizing pain, the glowing red symbols stopped as I fell to my knees in pain. Trying to glance up, I noticed Flynn's red eyes lusting at me with success. Breathing heavily, I asked, "What the hell did you do to me?"

A evil smirk rose on his face as he answered, "I only broke the curse, Sage. Welcome back."

"Back? What are you talking about!?" I yelled still feeling my head throb in pain as my back felt like knives were being pushed inside my back. Flynn did something to me, but I do not know what.

"You still can't remember anything, huh? What a nuisance." I noticed his red eyes roll as I tried pulling myself up off my knees, but my back was hurting so painfully.

"Why is my back hurting? Why are knives in my back?! Explain now!" I roared using my strength to pull myself up. The knives started disappearing as a burning sensation took its place.

"I see they are having a hard time coming out." He mentioned scratching his head. What does he mean they? Who are they? Feeling the burning sensation increase, I felt something growing in my back as my pale skin split in half in two areas. Coming out of the areas, two black wings spread out wide ripping my blue blood stained shirt. My feet started to leave the ground as I felt a bright light energy beam explode from my body inside the sky. The black wings still held me in the air with such strength.

Why the heck did I have wings? Nothing made sense anymore. As the light disappeared, I felt the wings lowering me slowly to the ground. Flynn smiled at me with such accomplishment like something he had been waiting for forever happened. Pointing at my wings, Flynn said, "Those are they, but now you have more than likely screwed us with indicating the guardians where we are."

More confused than I normally am, I felt my large black wings almost engulfing me in size. My tore t shirt did not help hiding my large bra. Why the heck did God give me such large breast? My mouth began to burn at the mention of God. Now, why can I not say his name. "What is going on? Why do I have wings?" I quickly asked stomping my foot.

"Oh, just like the good times, my favorite Fallen Angel." Flynn uttered as I felt my eyes widen in confusion. Did he just say Fallen angel? Did I hear him correctly? Wait, I wrote a creative short story for English. Fallen angels get their wings ripped away after they get thrown out of heaven. Noticing my discomfort, I could feel my wings tighten up.

"You are kidding me?! You idiots did this to me!" I screamed as I felt my wings extend longer. From my few minutes with wings, I noticed however my emotions were during my present state, my wings responded in their own way.

"Calm down. You were always this way." I noticed the cold reality emerging from Flynn's red eyes. Could he possibly be right? Looking at the others, I could actually see their fear from their red eyes. Why were they so scared of me? What could I do that feared them so much?

Trying to forget the idea of me always being this way, I remebered Flynn mentioned guardians. "What are guardians?" I asked feeling my wings crunch together towards my body.

"They are warrior Angels who will probably be here any moment now." Flynn answered clinching his fist and snapping my fingers. "Get out now, everyone. I will take Sage to their headquarters." After his order, the shadowy figures hurried in amazing speed out the door. I noticed the respect a while ago, but Flynn appeared to be the leader of the strange cult who changed me.

"Should we be worried?" I asked finally deciding to walk out of the circle. I could walk out of the circle with my wings still on my back.

A laugh emerged from his lips as he commented, "The only ones to be worried are the guardians."

I suddenly became more confused. I have suddenly become an angel which is my idiotic fault for following the noises. "Why should the guardians be worried?" I asked more confused than before. Can someone please give me some kind of explanation why my life is turning into a living hell? No one? Of course, I get the idiot who will not tell me anything.

"You really are an ignorant new angel. To believe you used to be the strongest fallen angel." He commented stretching his arms. Did I hear him correctly? I am the strongest fallen angel.

"Can you please tell me what the hell is going on?" I yelled walking closer to him. After I yelled, a large bang exploded from the side of the barn. Now, what is going on?
