"It's OK you know," she said walking over to me and stroking my hair. I leaned back against her and looked up sadly.
"We are leaving home," I said feeling a tear come down my face but she stopped it are her
finger.
"We will still be together. Come lets get you ready for bed," she said and I got up changed. She undid my braid, brushed out, and put in a bun. I climbed into bed and she laid down next to me. Then Bailee, Mabelle, Jacalyn, and Kadin came in then climbed in with us. Radcliff came and lifted my head onto his lamp while I cried. I cried myself to sleep that night and my siblings never left my bed. When I woke up I didn't move but somehow Sabina woke up and she went downstairs to make breakfast. Bailee, Mabelle, and Jacalyn got up next then they left to go to their own rooms. Kadin got up kissed my forehead and left soon after them. Radcliff just got up hugged me and left the room. I showered and changed into a white blouse with a red skirt and walked downstairs. I ate then went back up, sat at my window and looked outside toward the backyard. Bailee came in and started packing up my stuff whirling around the room grabbing clothes, putting them in the suitcase, and grabbed the picture frame from the dresser.
"We were happy," she whispered looking at the picture from the vacation we took when I was ten. I looked over at her as a tear rolled down her cheek. I jumped off the sill and ran over wiping the tear off her face.
"We still can be I hope," I whispered back and then everyone came in and we hugged and cried some more. Radcliff and Kadin broke down my bed and dressers packing them into boxes later that week. We got into the family car and drove the four hours to the airport. The plane took us to the French coast.
