Uncle
subtly defensive and Bailee quickly joined them after she lead him in. Radcliff stepped forward and as head of the family he glared at the official.
"What can we do for you Councilmen?" he asked and with those words he delivered the venom to show he was not wanted. Jacalyn held me closer and squeezed my shoulders.
"I have come to inform you that your father did not make it to the prison," he answered my big brother harshly catching up to his mood. Bailee and Sabina gasped while Kadin and Radcliff hissed.
Jacalyn stood up,"I don't believe you," she hissed in his face and in response he pushed her out of his face. All my siblings closed around me and for the first time he seemed to notice me.
"So this her? The girl with powers she can't understand or control and I don't lie," he said shifting his attention from me to Jacalyn as she sprang up from the ground. He took a seat in the chair in the corner and took out a piece of paper from his briefcase.
"Your father left a will and that is why I am here," he said and they all took seats next to me,"He left you all the money, furniture, and your belongings."
"Thank you and is that all?" he said through his teeth.
"Sadly no because all of you are minor's you have to go and stay with an adult until Radcliff turns eighteen," he explained. We all looked shocked considering we never knew we had any family to go stay with.
"I will be eighteen in two months and I can take care of them till then." he said worriedly.
"You will all go stay with your uncle. You leave in a week." he said but I didn't stick around I got up and ran upstairs to my window. I heard everyone yelling after me but I just picked up my guitar and played looking at the moon. I was so absorbed in my playing I didn't hear Sabina come upstairs.
