I don't remember most of it. I remember sitting next to Sabina holding her hand when the council read not guilty. We all jumped up and down hugged each other and left with a spring in our step. When we got home Sabina went straight to the kitchen and I went upstairs. I changed and washed off all the makeup when I was done Mabelle camp up and sat on my bed looking at me.
"Can I help with you hair," she asked nervously looking at me sadly.
"Sure," I responded and she walked over while I sat at my vanity staring at my reflection. She began to pick out the pins and brush the curls.
"Its been awhile since I have done this hasn't it,"she said while she began to braid it back.
"You never do it anymore. Not since dad left," I told her and she stopped for just a second then finished by putting in a hair tie.
"We should do is again," she said helping me up," Lets go downstairs. Sabina is making something amazing." We went downstairs and Kadin and Bailee were playing a game of cards while Radcliff was reading a book.
"What are you making?"I asked smelling the amazing aromas coming from the stove.
"I am making beef and lamb stew for dinner and there is a cake on the counter. Could you get Jacalyn to decorate it," she answered me and I ran off it find her. She was upstairs looking out the attic window. The sun was going down and she looked relaxed for the first time in over a year. I stayed in the doorway giving her a few more moment.
"I know your there," she said.
