Chapter 12 (Finally)

Mich's POV
    Is Kathy kissing me? Is this the shy, adorable girl I know? My heart is racing. I put my arms around her smaller body. She squeaks. I pull out of the kiss and see Kathyrine blushing madly.We hear a gasp. We turn our heads to the sound and see Aaronn. Oddly, I feel bad for the guy. Aaronn runs away. Kathy chases after him. I don't have the heart to stop her.

Kathy's POV
     "Aaronn, wait! Come back!" I yell.
     He doesn't stop. My legs give way and I trip. Aaronn... I-i... I'm sorry. I didn't think that was going to happen. I head home, tears running down my face. I go up to my room, my mother too bust teaching piano to notice my tear stains. I fall on my bed and hug my pillow. Oh, Aaronn... I wish that wouldn't have happened... On Monday, I make sure to stay away from the boys. I don't want to hurt some of them.
     Monday arrives quickly and I sit in the back of the Math classroom. I wear a baggy hoodie, hood up and a cough mask. Unfortunately, I had gotten a bit sick over the weekend and Mom has to work and Ellie's family can't help due to work. I notice both boys sitting away from me and each other, Ellie absent because she was taken on a business trip. What did I get myself into...? After class, I quickly go out the door, only for my hood to be pulled.
     "Wah!" I squeak, which was followed by an almost an immediate blush.
     "Kathyrine, right? Listen, I notice that you're avoiding the two hotties." A boy who's close to my height says.
     "Y-yeah, that's right." I reply, walking forward, him following me.
     "Did something happen? OMG, you have to tell me!"
     "U-um... can I know your name first?"
     "Oh, I'm Joey. Joey Adal."
     "U-um... They're mad at each other because they... both like me..."
     "Ugh, I hate my gender, but they're so cute."
     "... cute?"
     "Huh? Oh, I'm... I'm gay."
     "Oh, that's cool."
     "OMG, you are cute!"
     "A-am not!"
     "Let's be friends!"
     "... Sure!"
     Turns out he moved here over the weekend. We have half of my classes together. As the day goes, we talk more and become better friends. We have many things in common. My worries lessen as the day goes... until after school. My eyes lay on Aaronn and Mich... eh?
     "Let's go, Kathy," Aaronn says, holding his hand out.
     "No, come with me!" Mich says, reaching his out.
     "But, I'm going home with Joey..." I reject.
     "Who's Joey!?" They yell in unison.
     "Um... HELLO!? AM I INVISIBLE!?" Joey yells, seeming like a girl...
     "... oh."
     "OH!? IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY!? NO WONDER THIS POOR GIRL IS AVOIDING YOU!"
