The 'People At My School' Rant
This will probably make me sound like a horrible person, but I really don't like the people at my school. I will explain why, because I have my reasons.People at my school are just such uneducated, ignorant people. They are extremely uncultured as well, and they don't know anything about anything. They all just smoke, drink and swear, and they do drugs and inappropriate things when they are much too young to do any of this. It's just disgusting, and they're such horrible people.
I'm going to split this rant into parts, to make it easier to understand. The first part of this rant will be about how people at school eat.
Everyone at my school eats in the same way, and they eat unhealthy food all the time. They literally never eat anything healthy, and it seems as if I'm the only person in the school that has a proper diet. People at school just eat whatever they feel like eating whenever they want to eat it, and what they want to eat is usually just Coca Cola with some kind of unhealthy snack.
One time in Food Tech, we filled in this table to say everything that we eat in a day, and it was easy. I wrote that I'd had a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee for breakfast, a sandwich, raisins, jelly, a chocolate bar and a bottle of water for lunch, a roast dinner and some juice for tea, and a piece of toast, a biscuit and some milk for supper. I was just appalled at what the other kids wrote. They literally wrote that they had one can of Coca Cola for breakfast, another can of Coca Cola and a tub of fruit from the canteen for their lunch, and a portion of chips with yet another can of Coca Cola for tea.
I don't understand how they can eat like that, or how their parents allow them to eat like that. You need nutrition from real food, and people at school don't seem to care about having a proper diet. And it's not like they can't afford healthy food or anything. Proper food is usually actually cheaper than most of the things they eat, but they just choose not to eat properly. This is probably because they waste their money on things like cigarettes and drugs, really, but I'm going to talk about that later in this rant. And I'm probably the only person in my school that eats properly, and I literally get made fun of for actually eating healthily. But to be honest, I'd rather be unpopular and healthy than popular and unhealthy.
Also, people at school sometimes bring full cartons of milk to school, and they sit there just drinking the milk out of the carton. That's kind of disgusting, because they just keep the milk in their bag all day, and it's not even in a fridge or anything. So it's probably going to spoil, and they just keep drinking it. People at school also do the same thing with two litre bottles of fizzy pop, except that won't spoil. But why do you need to take a huge bottle of Coca Cola to school? You really don't need that much fizzy pop, and it will probably make people more badly behaved and disruptive, because it has a lot of sugar and will make them hyper. It also takes up so much room in their bags, and that's space in their school bags that they could be using for necessary items, like their stationery, which they never bring to school. That's probably because they fill their school bags up with ridiculous things like this. So people at school just take these huge bottles of pop to school, and they take them out of their bags and drink them in lessons as if it's just a normal-sized water bottle or something. And the teachers don't even care.
I actually have a story to share about people at my school not eating properly. When I took a Scotch egg to school for my lunch, this girl sat next to me said, "Ew!" Then this other girl said, "What's that and why does it have that egg thing in it?" It's literally a Scotch egg, so it's obviously going to have an egg in it. I can't remember who said that, but it just proves how uncultured everyone at my school is.
I was literally called ugly for eating jelly once too, which makes no sense at all. But this is the sort of thing that people at my school will pick on you for. When I get my lunch out of my bag in the canteen to eat each day, people nearly always make comments about what I eat. And the people that make these comments are usually sat there with just a tub of tortilla chips and a can of Coca Cola, and nothing else. So I'm just sat there with whatever I'm eating, which is usually healthier than what they're eating and probably something that people at school aren't cultured enough to know about. And they make fun of me for it, but I don't really understand why, because I'm just eating well and trying to live a good lifestyle, unlike them.
The second part of this rant is about what people at school do. They swear all the time, in almost every sentence. There is actually no need for it, and it just makes them sound bad. They drink and do drugs when they aren't even old enough to, and they brag about it as if it's something to be proud of. Like doing bad things will help you in the future. It really won't, it will ruin your future. They also smoke and do inappropriate things, when they're too young to do those things as well. They always come to lessons really late smelling of smoke, and it's just disgusting. They try to cover it up with body spray, and it really doesn't work, but they still get away with it because the teachers don't care. Some of the people in my year, like Hair Colour Girl, are pregnant or have been pregnant. And most of the girls in my year have boyfriends that are eighteen or older, which is just wrong when most of them are thirteen. They also always get detentions and disrupt lessons too, which is bad for themselves and for other people, because it ruins others' education. And some of the kids at my school have actually committed serious crimes, which is just disgusting.
The third part of this rant is about how the people at my school live. Nearly every person at my school lives in a council house, and they live in quite rough areas. There are two main areas where people at my school live. The first area is near where I live. There is this road that is near my house, and it leads to two other different roads. The road on the right is the one that leads to the area that I live in, and it's probably one of the better looking streets in my town. It's basically for people that work and can afford a decent house to live on, and it's a lot nicer than the road on the left. The road on the left leads to the council estate that most of the people from my school live on, and it's actually a really horrible, scruffy place. The other main area where they live is on a road next to my school, and that is a lot like the road near my house, because it is another really rough council estate. A lot of bad things happen in both areas, because the parents of the kids from my school just don't care about their children. Nearly all of them also actually have parents that smoked or did drugs as kids, or that were actually pregnant at a young age too. I've actually heard some people, like Smoking Boy, literally say that their parents give them advice relating to smoking or any of the other bad things that they do. That's just disgusting. And if the parents of people at school can't even take care of themselves, then why do they have kids?
The fourth part of this rant is about how uneducated people at my school are. This may be due to how bad my school is, but they don't even know things that most people their age should know. They ask the most stupid questions in lessons, and they literally don't know about anything. If you want to know the kind of things that people at my school say, one time, this boy in one of my lessons literally said, "You know Vaseline? Well, I've just found out that it's good for your lips!" Vaseline is literally a lip balm, and it says that it's for your lips on the tin. I don't know how you can go that long without knowing something that obvious. And a few days ago, most of the people in my Science class were literally arguing that an architect was 'someone who digs holes'. An architect is someone who designs buildings, and it is nothing to do with digging holes. Also, hardly anyone in my year barely knows what an adjective is, or how to spell the most basic of words. Goldfish Girl is probably the worst for this, because that's exactly why I call her Goldfish Girl. It's just annoying how uneducated everyone is, because the people in my year are thirteen and fourteen, and they should know things like this by now.
The fifth part of this rant is about what people at my school say. They constantly make extremely offensive jokes, and they make fun of serious things like suicide or mental illnesses a lot. Every single day, I have to hear people joking about it. And because of the way the teachers act, as I said in my previous rant, they literally join in with it and agree with what they say. In each lesson, I hear people at school laughing and saying things like, "I've got bleach in my bag, I'm going to drink it now!" or, "I'm going to self harm because I'm mentally ill!" It disgusts me so much, and they're so uneducated about what some people actually have to go through. What if there was someone in the class that was struggling with a mental illness, self harm or even suicidal thoughts? How would they feel? I know that it makes me feel horrible when I hear them say things like that.
The sixth part of this rant is about how people at my school treat me. They just bully me and make fun of me every single day, without even seeming to care about how they might be making me feel. They think that it's okay to pick on me just because I won't say anything back to them. But just because I can't speak, doesn't mean I can't hear. Everything that they say hurts so much, and they just don't care at all. People say that bullies bully because they like to get a reaction, but these people bully me because they like not getting a reaction. I don't react, because I can't, but yet they still try to get me to react because they want me to talk.
I wish they could just leave me alone. It's not like I'm hurting anyone by not speaking. And they constantly ask me why I don't talk, but that's none of their business. Why do they even ask me, anyway, when they know I'm not going to answer them? I've never done anything to them, yet they go out of their way to make me feel bad every single day for no real reason other than the fact that they think I'm strange. They don't even try to get to know me properly at all, either. They just find out that I don't talk, and they just bully me for it immediately. I often hate myself because of this, and I think that if I could talk, then I would be more liked.
But then I think that it is also kind of a good thing, because you can tell who are your true friends and who aren't more easily. If people get angry with you for not talking to them, then they're not someone that you should associate yourself with. But if they accept it and actually treat you like a proper person rather than just someone that seems to just exist to be pitied, like SkyDoesMinecraft Girl did when she became friends with me, then they're probably a real friend.
It's people like the kids at my school that make me wonder what the world is coming to, really.

Also, joking is a way to cope with things. 9/11, people get depressed hearing it. I guess someone wanted people to not feel so guilty even though its not their fault.
