The Party Continues

"Heyy.... Rick. Said Rick's ex-girlfriend Diane who was now standing close to him with both of her palms on his chest. Rick quickly moved away not wanting Mira to notice. "Diane"-- Rick half-whispered "can you go away?" Diane faked a shocked, and kind of disgusted look on her face. ' Fine Ricky be that way!" Diane rudely said then stormed off to where her friends were standing. " Sorry Mira, Diane just won't leave me alone. We broke up a week ago, she wouldn't leave me alone at all when we were dating, and now she's even more clingy. Diane was a tall, black girl with black hair in lovely waves that fell to a little past her shoulders, and onto her back, and was wearing a white silk camisole, and a periwinkle miniskirt.  "That's okay, I's not your fault". Said Mira with real sympathy, she got how annoying someone like Diane must be.
    "Hey Mira come over here" called Carrie, who was standing with Kassandra, and Robin. Robin was glaring at her, but Kassandra was smiling.. "I'll go with you". Rick offered. "No, um I'll just take a minute, really". Mira said with an anxious tone. Rick looked disappointed, but then he slowly walked over towards the wall, and leaned back on it trying to keep looking cool. Rick was used to clingy girls, and girls all over him, so he was naturally surprised at how Mira was. She was so....different, but somehow Rick found is attractive. Mira was standing with her 2 friends, and Robin. "Hey, you and Rick are really getting close, huh? Kassandra asked in a playful tone. "Yeah, probably". Said Mira with an embarrassed smile. "He sure is hot". Said Carrie in a dreamy voice. Mira blushed, she knew that she also thought so. Mira still didn't fully trust anybody so she didn't want to talk about her, and Rick, or anything about Rick. "I have to go I...um just have to. Said Mira with a shy, forced smile.
    Mira went back to Rick. "Well that took you a while". Rick said in a cool, smooth way. Mira was just about to tell him what Carrie said about him, but she didn't want a friend like Carrie, or anyone to have to go through what she had when it comes to trust. "Yeah, the girls wanted to talk a lot, but I figured I'd choose you instead. Mira said in a just as smooth voice. "At least for tonight". Mira playfully added. Rick showed off his cute smile again, and Mira's smoothness quickly went away, and the nervousness came back. Diana walked back over to Rick, and Mira. "Here it comes again." Rick boldly stated. Mira gave a shy smile. Rick might have, but Diane did not think it was cute. Diane didn't even look at Mira, or even know she existed. Diane was just that good. When it came to annoying, and ignoring.
    "Heyy, Rick I know you think I'm hot. You can look all you want, I won't judge". Said Diane with a wink. Diane was obviously just trying to be annoying, and it worked. Rick was annoyed, but Mira was furious. Mira didn't know how to handle this type of emotion. Well, she knew how to deal with the irritation, but not jealousy. Mira suddenly yelled " Just leave us alone! No one in their right mind would like you in any way. You shouldn't even like yourself! But, oh wait you're not in your right mind! Those harsh words really stung Diane, like all rude comments, but in front of Rick, and the insult given. She was furious, and upset. Diane is already really insecure on the inside. Diane clenched her fist hard, and her nostrils were flared beyond belief. She was ready to hit someone....
