Chapter 6- Phoenix Girl

I laid in bed and sighed. I scratched my scar half heartedly, then froze when I realized what I was doing. I closed my eyes, feeling a bit miserable. All day Scratch and Ash had hung out together, and even though they tried to include me things seemed awkward, or overly excited. It was now night, and everyone was asleep but me.
I kept thinking about the day as I drifted off to sleep.

I stood on the side of a mountain, gazing out at the view. It was beautiful, peaceful, and the cold didn't seem to affect me. In fact, it seemed to invigorate me.
I sensed someone appear behind me, but I didn't turn to look at them. This was a dream, and there was no danger of being stabbed in the back here.
"Goldenweaver."
I stayed quiet. They walked over and stood next to me.
"You were sleeping for 7 months, Golden boy. I'm surprised you can sleep now."
"It is what it is."
"Maybe so."
We were quiet. Then I felt them put their hand on my shoulder.
"Do you know who I am?"
"Should I?"
"Stop speaking in riddles and anwser me."
I looked at them.
There was a girl with dark skin, brown curly hair, and piercing green eyes. She had two angel wings on her back, but they were shaped in a different way then mine. They were slightly shorter, yet more angled. That's not what commanded my attention however.
Her wings, for I assume its a her, looked as if they were on fire. There were a few stray, long, feathers drifting off of her wings. Her wings were a collection of blue, red, orange, yellow, and even white. It was as if a phoenix had switched wings with her. She also had double halos, one of which was small and the other large. They circled around each other in a beautiful tiered appearance.
She looked at me seriously, her eyes seeming to extract my secrets and steal them.
"Your a angel, aren't you?"
"Your a angel too, dumbass. You would know."
I couldn't help but smile a little.
"So what do I owe the pleasure? There's not much to see here."
"I wanted to meet you. Things haven't been good lately."
"Are you dead?"
"Excuse me.. What?"
"I said are you dead. As far as I know we angels are extinct. So are you another one of my ghosts?"
"Ha ha very funny... No. I am not dead."
I looked back at the mountainside view. She seemed annoyed.
"What's wrong with you?"
"What?" I looked back at her surprised.
"I didn't think you would be this mysterious, annoying, and depressing. What's wrong with you?"
"I don't know. Just.. somethings not right."
"So something is bothering you?"
"I guess you could say that. Who are you anyways?"
"You may call me Blaise. I was part of the kings dagger."
I raised a eyebrow.
"Is that so?"
"Yup."
"Well, what's a tracker doing here anyways?"
"I'll answer that once you answer me."
