The Fight

Toby backed up. "I'm sorry." Rose stopped. She turned invisible. She looked in the doorway. EJ was in Toby's face. "EJ! Back off!" Jane called. EJ looked at her. "Fine!" Rose chocked back a sob. She became visible, and looked at EJ. He fixed his mask. "Rose... No." Rose ran out of the house. She bumped into a something. She looked up, and Splendorman was there. "Rose? What's wrong?" He saw her face. "What happened?" She broke down like she did the first day she got at the mansion. "Splendy! I killed your brother again, but he keeps coming back. I can't kill without going crazy, and everyone thinks I'm fine, but I'm not! I don't know what to do!"
Splendy nodded. Rose heard footsteps behind her, and then they went away. "Was it EJ?" Splendy looked down. "Not important now. What happened?" They walked into her part of the forest, while Rose explained. When she finished, they were in a tree on his part of the Forest. "Wow. Black Rose, a ruthless killer. A Creepypasta. Never even thought of that... Not like you kill for a living!" He teased. Rose laughed. "Yeah. But everyone counts on me... I'm not as strong as they think." Splendy nodded. "I know what you feel."
Rose looked up. "What? But you're so joyful!" Splendy laughed, and used his tentacle to push her hair out of her face. "Not everyone is what they seem. I didn't use to be this funny. But I noticed moping won't do me any good. Even when people depend on you." Rose gasped. Splendy had white fire. "You... You're on fire..." She gasped. He shrugged. "I know. It's okay." He smiled. "I know. People think you are all cheery, but really, you almost died. Twice."
Rose looked down. "Hey." Splendy lifted her head. "If you ever need to chat, with someone other than EJ, come to me. I won't tell. Promise." Splendy smiled. Rose giggled. "Thank you." She hugged him. Then, she jumped down. She almost started running, but she paused. "Go on." Splendy called. She nodded. "Thanks!" When she got into the house, EJ was sitting on the couch, looking down. Jane came up to her. "Are you okay!? We were so worried! You just disappeared." Toby coughed, and ran into his room. "What the heck have I done, Jane?"
