The Aftermath

Jane shrugged. "What have we done?" EJ looked at Rose. "Hey. Didn't see you come in. How are you?" She scowled at him. "Great. I probably put everyone in a depression, and Toby feels like crud." EJ looked down. "Yeah... About that. I was just worried about you." Rose stepped forward. "Anyway, where are my knives?" Jane chuckled. "Are you sure it's okay to give those to you?" Rose almost hit her, but she smiled, and laughed. "Yeah! I'm fine now. I just needed time. Won't happen again. Promise." Jane smiled.
She walked over to a table, and pulled out two knives. "Here." Rose took them, and sheathed them. "I have to go apologize. To everyone." EJ and Jane left her be. Rose knocked on Toby's door. "Come." He sounded dead. She walked in. "Hey, Rose." She ran and hugged him. "Hey." Toby said nothing. "EJ..." She looked at him. She scowled. "EJ... Really?" She turned. EJ closed the door before she could see him. He didn't come back. "EJ was annoyed. He didn't mean what he said. Anyway, where is Broken?" Toby smiled. "Hunting."
Rose sat down next to him. "Rose, I'm sorry. I should have shut up." Rose smiled. "Im fine. Rather know what you think than you lie." Toby smiled. "Really?" Rose smiled. "Of course! Honesty is the best policy, or so my teacher said before I killed her." Toby laughed. "Oh my gosh! How did you perk up so fast?" Rose nudged him. "What about you? Anyway, Waffles?" Toby's face lit up. "Waffles!" He ran out of the room. Rose followed. Jane looked at her. "Waffles." Rose called. Jane laughed.
When Toby got his waffles, he went into his room again. He wanted to sleep. Rose went to Masky next. He wasn't at his room, but when she turned around, Masky ran right into her. "Wha-?" They fell. "Masky! I was just looking for you!" Masky looked at her, and gasped. "Hey! I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" Rose got up, and helped Masky up. "Yeah. You?" Masky nodded. "You not mental anymore?" Rose nodded, smiling. "Happily. I just needed time." Masky shrugged. "Yeah, sometimes I do too."
Rose gasped. "Wait right here!" Masky said nothing. Rose ran to the kitchen. She remembered seeing a cheesecake in the fridge. She grabbed it. It was smaller than her hand, but Masky would love it. She stopped in front of him, and let him see it. He gasped, and blushed.
