The Awakening
Rose woke up. She had been asleep for all of thirty seconds. "Wha?" Masky stopped her. "Take a breath." She pushed him back, but laid down again. Jeff yelled, "I could really use some help!" Jane ran out to him. Masky helped Rose up, and then gave her the knives she had. "Be careful!" She got off the bed, and faltered. Masky caught her. "Are you sure?" She nodded. "Broken..." Masky pulled her away. "I'm so sorry." Before she could ask why, Broken lifted her up on her feet."Ready?" Broken got out her scythe. It gleamed in the morning night, bloody. "Ready." Rose nodded. They charged, and Offenderman roared. Jane was ready to attack again, after being pushed away. Jeff was using his knife to slash Offenders face. Offender seemed mad. Masky stayed back, and helped EJ. He had broken his wrist when he tries to get out of the chair. Rose nearly got knocked back by a tentacle, but she jumped over. "Offender!" She screamed.
Jeff and Jane looked at her. She plunged a knife into his heart, and didn't pick it up. Her body was full of adrenaline, and she kept running. She dodged Offenderman's attacks, and he was laying down in a corner. She looked at his face. She started stabbing his face. "Leave me alone!" Offenderman stilled. She kept stabbing, and when she stopped, she realized she was covered in blood. "What have I done?"
EJ grabbed her shoulder. "Hey." She turned and backed up. "EJ? Your arm!" He laughed. "I'm fine. Are you okay?" She shook her head. "Don't come near. I don't want to hurt you!" EJ stepped forward. "You won't. I know it." Black Rose dropped the knife, and EJ picked it up. "Come here. Trust me." He held his hand out, and she grabbed it. He pulled her up, and they hugged. "Arm!" EJ squeaked. "Huh?" Rose backed up. "It's not completely healed." She nodded. "EJ? What have I done? Look, I'm sorry for combing here. I've just brought trouble." EJ shook his head. "No! Don't say that. Don't ever say that! I couldn't live without you. Don't ever even think that!"
She looked up. "Look at this, Jack! I've almost killed all of us! More than once!" Toby replied, "She has." EJ turned. "Not helping!" Rose had tears streaming down her face. "I... I need to go." She ran out. EJ looked at Toby. "What?" Toby defended himself. "She was right!" EJ took his mask off, and scowled. "She may be gone now!"
