We Are Soldiers!

We Are Soldiers!

In a world where danger lurks at every shadow, can these cats survive? Humans have begun capturing cats and doing experiments on them left and right. Some show positive signs, making them have powers. And others show negative signs, turning them into soulless monsters. Few cats escape and hide. We are those cats. We are Soldiers!

Injured (Chapter 15)

~~Tay's P.O.V~~

I sprung up and bounced right out of the stupid punishment den. I'm free! My excitement quickly faded as I saw the other cats' faces. Ina was glaring at me, her eyes a shade of red. I glared back defiantly. I had never really liked her...Anyways, I was freed and that's that. I saw Kuturo and shuffled over to him carefully. "Uh, Can I-" I was cut off. "What do you want?" He hissed, flexing his claws. My teeth clenched and my claws slid out. "I was going to ask if I could go hunt," My voice was shaking as I tried to contain my anger. I thought that Kuturo was my friend...I guess I was wrong. "Fine," He replied curtly, stepping out of my way. I muttered a string of curses before storming away into the forest. The chilly leaf-bare winds ruffled my fur as I continued marching through the forest. Suddenly something hit my paw and I heard a loud snapping sound. Pain blurred my vision immediately. "Guys help! I-I'm stuck!! Please help!" I called desperately until my throat was sore. I sunk to the ground and fell asleep instantly. It's not like anyone will notice...

~~ Lyna's P.O.V. ~~

I was passing out to patrol around the city, searching for new cats. I then heard a yowl for help. I quickly ran over to see what was happening. I saw Tay laying in the snow. She was stuck. I ran over to her.

"Tay?... Tay! Tay, are you ok?" I asked and helped her up. She wouldn't wake up, so I put her on my back and ran back to the tunnel that leads back to camp. Once I got back to camp, I set her down in the nest that was meant for sick or injured cats in the Healer's Den. I then went to find Rhino, who was the Healer. I had to practically drag him to his den because he didn't want to get up from his 'comfortable' spot. He sighed when we entered the den and immediately went to work on Tay's wounds. I left the Healer's Den to go get something to eat.

'I hope Tay's ok...' I thought as I started eating a mouse.
