Destroyer

The alien prince was brought to his knees by a blow to the gut, but he still managed to keep himself composed.

"Tell us the data code to the shield or your planet will die." The Destroyer said, standing before him.
The prince spat at him, then growled, "Never! Ill never betray my people, you unworthy dog! May the Great One unleash all forms of Angkor on you and your damned 'Army of the Heavens'!"

The princes' army lay in ruin, as did his capitol. He had led the attack, using all of his armada and his allies as well. The battle was lost from the start, but they had to make a stand, in order to protect the Prophet and his Congregation of the Saved. The Great One himself had promised salvation through Mikæl, his angel of Justice and Light.

But The Destroyer had, well, destroyed his fleet of Warships, and he was the only one left. He had killed a few hundred of his troops with a trap, but in the end he was captured.  

Not, however, before he entered the data code for the planetary-wide safety shield. Thankfully his people also found the secrete to star travel, otherwise more would die.

He had failed them once, and he was determined to let as many escape his homeworld as he coukd by destracting Destroyer as long as possible.

"So be it." Destroyer said, slicing the young warriors head off, crushing the skull under his boot. "Make sure none of them escape. Kill them down to the last child."
He turns to see his planet-bombe kill the planet below, smiling wickedly under his helmet.
"I will have the Prophet, even if I must kill the Great One myself."

The planet explodes, killing those unfortunate enough to have not escaped.

"Next up," he says, pointing to a blue dot, "Earth."
