Bana the Dandere
Stitches was walking the grounds when he heard sniffling."Oh? What is this?" He asks himself, going toward the sound. He found a neko girl sitting on a statue, holding her sore jaw. She had been there a while, since it was obvious her clothes were wet from the rain.
Walking to her, he sits next to her quietly, contemplating what to do.
She glances at him, still snifling.
"What is the matter, miss?" He asks, tilting his head curiously. She looks at him, then quietly says, "Im cold."
He thinks for a moment, then smiles.
"Why not come inside?" He asks, holding his hand out to her. He smiled, trying to disarm the situation.
She looks at him, then quietly says, "Ok. I dont like the rain."
He takes her hand, feeling nothing as she squeezes his.
After all, he was a sentient puppet, whos only purpose was to serve their master.
Once inside, she shook herself like a cat, trying to dry herself as he lights the fireplace.
"I am afraid my master is not here at the moment. You can stay here for the time being, but I am afraid you must leave when they return."
The girl held her hoodie close, afraid she might lose the only thing that brought her comfort.
"Thank you... Uhm... I dont know your name." She states, shifting from her hurt ankle to the next. "My name is Bana Ikonama. Its a pleasure to meet you."
"Please, Miss Ikonama. The pleasure is all mine. You may refere to me as Stitches, for obvious reasons." He replies, smiling and handing her a blanket.
She snuggles into it, making a cute noise as she does. "Thank you, Stitches-san. I wont forget your kindness."
"It is no problem for me, Miss Ikonama. I was simply helping out. May I ask why you are hurt?"
She bites her thumbnail, rocking back and forth kindly.
"Ill tell you, but you have to keep it a secrete."
Stitches sat in front of her, sitting dross-legged. "Please, Miss. Continue."
Bana takes a deep breath, then begins.
"I come from a broken home. My father was a drunk, and my mother wasnt the kind to fight back. Yesterday, he had too much, and I didnt clean the counter right. He got mad, and he started hitting on mom, cussing her for not teaching me to clean properly, like a woman should. I tried to stop him, but..." she bites her lips, holding the tears back. "But he hit me and tried to break my ankle. I hit him in the head with a frying pan, then I ran as fast as I could. I couldnt take it anymore. I had to leave."
Stitches was amazed.
"You are very brave. I like how honest you were, despit it being emotionaly painful for you." He says, laying his hand on her shoulder. "You are not ever going back there."
She tilts her head, then asks, "Wait, are you-"
"You may stay here, and if master asks, I said you could. I have some weight in what goes on in this castle, and I am sure Master will alloy you to stay, givin your cercumstances."
Bana's heart skipped a beat.
No one had ever been this nice to her.
No one.
She leaps at him, hugging him and crying.
"Thank you! Youre like an angel!" She says, burrying her head in his chest.
He hesitates, then hugs her back, patting her head in trying to comfort her.
He looks into the mirror, then raises an eyebrow.
Was he blushing?
No, no.
It was just his 'flesh' heating up because of the fire.
Thats all.
