Nishi the Thief

Elise was exploring the halls of the castle.

"Whao. This place is amazing..." she says to herself, touching the old woodwork.
It had been hand carved, and the craftmansship was just amazing!

She smiled to herself.
"My beloved sure has taste, Ill give him that."
"Tell me avout it." Another female voice said behi d her, causing Elise to whip around to face them.

There stood a red-headed furry, in the outfit of a thief.
She held up a sword, still in its sheath.
"Nice sword. This'll catch a nice price, wont it, Chi?" She said to a small neko, who responded with, "Ni-ni!"

Elise grabbed a broom.
"Put it back!" She yelled, swinging at the thief.
She dodged it expertly, grabbing the baby neko as she did.  
"Hey, watch the baby! She's only two!" She said, holding the baby out.

Chi giggled happily, then said, "I two! Twooooooo!"
Elise melted, letring the broom fall from her hands as she reached for her.
"Awww, she's adorable! Is she-"
"No, I found her in China. She was just sittin they in de street." The thief replies, holding her hand out. "The names' Nishi, the best damn thief in the world."

"Ni-ni!" Chi giggles, jumping down from Elises arms and waddling toward the furry. "Ni-ni, up! Chi up!"
"Aw, come here, lil un!" The furry says in an American accent, picking her up and nuzzling her as she giggled.
"Where are you from, Nishi?" Elise asks, sitting down on the stairs.

"N' Olean." She says, the Cajun accent apparent. She dropped the sword, kicking it away. "A clonin facility twas my home till I went and scaped."
"Huh. I coulda sworn you were French or something." Elise replies as the baby picks up a mouse and eats it.

"So, Miss. Lez get tu know each otha." Nishi said, standing up and going toward the kitchen.
Elise followed, smiling to herself.  
She didnt seem so bad.

Sesa opened his eyes, sitting up. He heard two new voices talking with Elise, so he got up and snuck to wherethey were having their conversation.

"And then I came here cause I heard a rumor that this place was abandoned, so I though to myself, 'Well, me n Chi here need a place to stay.' Only when I got here, you was here. So that brings us up to date." The furry says, holding the baby neko in her lap as it banged a cup on the table.
Elise sipped at her drink. "Sounds like you two have been through a lot." She says as Sesa walks up to them.

"Who is this?" He asks, motioning to the furry.
"Her name is Nishi, and the baby's name is Chi. Nishi is from New Orleans, in American Liusiana. Vhi is an orphan from Beijing, China. Did I get that right, Nishi?" She says, looking at the furry.
"Right on de head, girl." She replies, trying to hold a squirming Chi in her lap. "Chi, what de hells got ye so damned ornery?"

"Ni-ni, Chi down! Doooowwwwooowowowowoowowwowon!" The baby squeeled, jumping down and wabbling to Sesa.

"Wait, what is she..?" Sesa asks, raising an eyebrow as the baby literaly crawled up him to look him in the eye.
Nishi just sipped her tea, then said, "Jus let her do it."

Chi looked him in the eye, getting him to hold her.
She smiled, frowned, began to cry, was confused, then sniffled.
"Ni-no, Sesa no bad. He good guy!" She says, hopping down and waddling back to her. "He good." She said, laying her head against the furry's leg.

"What did she just do?" He asks,completely lost.
Nishi smiles, then says, "She read ya chi. Since ya a good person, I don havtu kill ya."

"Chi?" Elise asked, also confused.
Nishi sighed, then went on to explain that Chi can read chi, or the life force that runs through everything. Thats why she named her Chi.

"Dat, and she good fo warnin me bout people whod hurt us." She finishes, holding the neko as she sucked her thumb and slowly fell asleep.
"Thats incredible!" Elise says, getting an amazing idea. "You guys should stay here! You could help us with security and stuff!"

Nishi smiled, then said, "No can do. Chi here dont like-"
Chi jumps up and whispers something in her ear, glancing at Sesa.
Nishi makes a Hmph sound, then says, "Well, I suppose... Aight, we'll stay."

Sesa wasnt amused.
"Dont I get any say so?" He asks, receiving a "No." from all of the girls.
"Of course I dont." He says, turning back to his room. "Well, Im going to go back to sleep." He adds, letting them continue their little conversation about jewelery and such.
