Dawn?

Avery's POV

As we walked back from the courtyard, I found Lexi, Emma, Ski and Amethyst.

"I CANNOT believe you." I cried. "You ruined the chocolate fountain!"

Amethyst looked more than a bit offended by my statement. "It wasn't us. It was Dawn. You should NEVER have trusted her."

We found Dawn in the gym, in a corner. Eva's clique seemed to have ditched her there.

"Dawn?"

She turned and muttered, "Go away. I don't need your pity."

"It's OK." I sat down next to her.

Dawn scoffed. "No it's not! Eva made, no TOLD me to do this to you, and I DID. I'm no better than her."

"Then why are you in this corner crying."

"Because I felt guilt and Eva just laughed."

"Exactly. Come on, I forgive you, okay? I mean, if it wasn't for you, I would never have danced (and kissed, I thought with a smile) with Aaron."

I held out my hand, and Dawn took it, still sniffling, but with more hope in her eyes.
