Coraline and Kain

(This is Kain)

I opened the door and saw students milling around, almost every seat taken. I sat down in the only seat left. A muscular blond guy walked up to me. He leaned on my desk and winked at me. I rolled my eyes to show I'm not interested. He walked back to his buddies, laughing. I was staring at the door, looking at people coming in and out. At last the bell rang. Everyone say down. The blond guy sat in the seat to the right of me. I groaned and tilted my head back. Ms. Barbiery, the English teacher, walked in.
"Good morning class! Today, I have a-" She was cut off by Coraline stepping through the doors.

"Sorry I'm late," she mumbled. Ms. Barbiery looked at her disapprovingly. "Coraline, Coraline, Coraline... late again..." she sighed and wrote something down. Coraline rolled her eyes and walked towards me.
"You're in my seat," she muttered. I didn't hear.
"What was that?" I asked. A couple of people looked nervously over at me, and some even scooted away.
"I SAID, get out of MY seat," she hissed.
"She doesn't have to," a voice said. Several people gasped. I turned around and saw the blond guy twirling a pencil in his hand. Coraline walked up to him.
"What did you say Kain?" she fumed from her towering height.
"Nothing nothing..." he said with a small, almost invisible smirk, sheilding himself with his hands.
"Jerk," she muttered under her breath. She turned to me, but I had already moved my stuff and sat down a seat back. She flopped down and spilled the books from her bag onto the table. All this time, the teacher was explaining something on the board and didn't even notice. So here I was: Coraline in front of me, Kain to the right of me, and bare walls to the left and behind me. I put my head down onto the desk.
