What happened to Phone Guy?
For some of you not to familiar with FNAF let me try to explain who this person is. Phone guy is the person who leaves you messages because he was the other night security guard. There is a bunch of theories about him but from what we can gather this is our take on him.Most people think that the phone guy cannot be trusted. My friends and myself haven't really thought of that theory but we did suspect him to be the murderer. The one who killed those five kids. From certain sources we have a little certainty that he is the murderer. For one the murderer had to be an employee. This is because the murderer used a Golden Freddy costume to kill the kids. In order for someone to be able to get access to that suit they would need a key to get into the security room which is normally given to employees also it even mentions that an employee did the job. The killer then suposidly threw the parts of the kids he didn't need in the suit and threw it away which would explain why Golden Freddy is so lifeless. Although this brings another question to the table. What about the purple man? Well that's where we sort of get confused because phone guy didn't die in FNAF 2 he's still alive since FNAF 2 is a prequel. Although if you look at the purple man sprite it looks like he's holding either a phone or a gun. Me personally I think its a gun because this game was based off an event in real life and also if the purple guy is the murderer its pretty hard to kill someone with a phone. Also cordless phones didn't come out till the 1990s which means that it being a phone is unlikely.
We did assume that phone guy could be a killer due to the fact that most security workers have badges on their outfits and the purple man seems to have that badge also. Although most people say the killer was in an ANIMATRONIC suit. None of the articles say that it was Golden Freddy it just says one of the suits. We can also point out that phone guy was an employee in both games which is actually weird. Most fans don't point this out but why does phone guy come back if FNAF is the game after FNAF 2. He knew about the animatronics and if he's the killer there's no reason for him to come back. It even mentions that the suspect was arrested but maybe he programmed the characters and he came back to program the new ones to kill you so you wouldn't be able to find out he was the murderer.
