Finally Getting The Name (Chapter 16)
The day after the incident with Friskpaw, Cinderpaw was broken. Her feelings had shattered and she felt like crap. However, everything seemed to disappear when Yellowclaw said Cinderpaw was finally ready to become the Medicine cat.Cinderpaw was counting the Poppy Seeds when her mother walked in. "Cinderpaw, come here." Yellowclaw called for her kit as she padded into the Med Den. Cinderpaw looked up at her mother. "Its time.~" Yellowclaw said, smiling. Cinderpaw gasped and jumped around happily. She fell when she landed on her bad leg, but she couldn't feel anything in that leg so it didn't matter. Yellowclaw then left the Med Den to tell the leader that they were about to leave.
They got some warriors to travel with them then left, heading to the Moonpool.
~~ At the Moonpool ~~
Cinderpaw looked around in awe at the Moonpool. She's never seen it before so she didn't know what it looked like until now. And she knew she would remember this trip/ceremony forever.
"Come now." Yellowclaw said and walked over to the pool. Cinderpaw followed and laid down beside the pool. She moved her muzzle closer to the pool so her nose was touching it.
~~ The next day Back at Thunderclan camp ~~
The Med cats and the warriors arrived back at their camp and everyone was cheering for Cinderpaw's new name. "Cinderleaf! Cinderleaf!" Everyone chanted Cinderpaw's new name.
Cinderpaw was now known as Cinderleaf, Thunderclan's new Medicine Cat.
