Hopeless ?

Is Anyone Out There?

Three more days had passed since the knight had left the burning town and he found himself in lands that were less traveled by the enemy.

He knew that he was getting closer to human lands, but how close? That he did not know.
How much longer would he have to keep fighting? Till he died in these countless battles? When would he be able to enjoy the time he had left?
To all of these questions was one answer--- Unknown.

As he climbed to the top of a hill he saw the world stretch off into the distance and things stood still for a minute as he admired the view of the lands below, and how things seemed to be so beautiful from this hill.
Highs and lows, highs and lows.
What would things look like when he was down there?
Only one way to find out, keep moving forward and onward and into the unknown, to see what can be found.
