Six - Parker
"I'm no good for you"Chapter Six - Parker
*Parker POV*
"This better be the right place," I grumbled, looking at the large building in front of me.
"Trust me, I checked like twenty times," Shawn said, walking forward, "I don't really want to go into a college guy's dorm either, but you've just gotta get over it."
"Fine," I sighed, "But, just for the record, I am only doing this for Nova."
"Yeah, well that's kind of obvious. She is the reason we're here," Shawn replied, motioning for me to follow him.
I walked through the doors, the smell of feet instantly filling my nose. "What room number, Shawn?" I looked over at him as he pulled out his phone.
"Dorm 218," I smiled, adjusting the bag on my shoulders and walking towards the elevator
"Well, to floor two we go, then." I smiled, stepping into the elevator and pressing the button for floor two.
"Do you think she'll be happy to see us?" I asked, my stomach churning. We hadn't seen Nova since the wreck, and, according to her brother, she still wasn't doing too well.
"If her brother is correct," Shawn mumbled, looking over at me, "Then she probably won't."
We both awkwardly shuffled through the hall, knocking on the door with the number 218 carved into it. When the door finally opened, David was standing there, his face automatically lighting up and his lips curving up into a smile when he saw us. "There you guys are!" he moved out of the way, motioning for us to come in, "Nova's at the soccer field with Neil."
I smiled, asking, "Neil?"
"He's Quentin's brother. Apparently he annoys the heck out of her because he shows up everywhere or something. I don't really remember," I smiled even more when I realized that David was actually nervous. He did realize that we weren't celebrities anymore, right? We weren't famous anymore, we were just his sister's former friends now.

*Edwin POV*
I felt the bench shake slightly, and saw a figure sit down next to me out of the corner of my eye. There was a tap on my shoulder, and I looked over to see Neil smiling at me. He waved, obviously wanting to say something. I sighed, turning the page in my notebook and handing it and the pen I was using to him. "Thanks." Neil held up the notebook, quickly pulling it back down and writing more on it. "Your brother told me what happened, and, look, I'm really sorry." I frowned, making a mental reminder to slap David later. I gave him a weak smile, looking down at my hands.
After a minute or two of us just sitting there awkwardly, I looked over at Neil, curious as to what he was doing. He was just staring out at the field, a blank expression covering his features. I frowned when I saw a look of both confusion and excitement fall upon his face. Curious, I looked out onto the field, groaning in frustration when I saw them coming. Parker was smiling ear to ear, while Shawn had a blank expression on his face.
I grabbed my crutches, making my way down the bleachers with an annoyed look on my face. The second Parker saw me heading towards her and Shawn, she ran over to me, embracing me in quite possibly the tightest hug in the history of hugs. I just kind of stood there, trying not to let the embrace knock me over. "What are you doing here?" I yelled, the feeling of strain in my throat the only thing telling me that I had actually yelled it.
I pulled away from the embrace Parker had me in, and tried my best to ignore the hurt look on her face as I scowled at her.
