Four - Celebrity
"We'll live like spoiled royalty"Chapter Four - Celebrity
*David POV*
"Come on, she's a deaf teenage girl on crutches; what harm could she possibly do?" I yelled at the dean of students, my face red with anger.
"I'm sorry David, I can't allow you to bunk with a girl, much less a high schooler." How could he be so calm? I'm yelling at him, and he's calm as heck.
"She's my sister! What do you expect me to do to her?"
"You know the rules, David,"
"Fine," time for a new approach, "Have you ever heard of a band called Supernova?"
He tensed, raising an eyebrow in question. "Yes?"
I walked outside, motioning for Nova to follow me. She sighed, not moving a muscle. I walked over, handing her her crutches and helping her up. When I walked back inside of the office with my injured sister, I saw a confused look begin to form on Patrick's face.
"This, Patrick, is my sister, Nova." I smiled, and Nova only stared at the tile floor, "Now, Patrick, tell me this: what could an injured celebrity possibly do that's so bad in your eyes?"

*Edwin POV*
I slowly opened the door of the main dorm building, entering the large room crowded with people. As I stumbled my way towards the elevator, I felt a hand be planted on my shoulder. I turned around to see my brother, David, smiling at me. He held up a soccer ball, signing "Wanna play?" I let out a groan, pointing towards the cast on my left leg. "Okay, wanna watch us, then?"
I really just wanted to say no, go up to his dorm, and lay down, but something inside of me was screaming at me to just say yes. I nodded my head, following my smiling brother back out of the large building. Watching some guys play soccer couldn't be too bad, now could it?
Turns out I was completely wrong. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, wanted me to at least try and play soccer with them. Could they not see the bored look on my face and the big, white cast on my leg? I mean, seriously, who asks a girl on crutches if she would play soccer with them? College students, apparently.
It just got worse when I saw that all too familiar face appear on the field. It was the guy from the lunch table. I saw him and another guy run up to David with smiles on their faces, embracing each other in a "bro hug," as my brother calls it. I slowly made my way over to David, tapping his shoulder. "Remember, I'm Edwin, not Nova." I signed to him once he turned back to me.
"Come on, why do I have to call you Edwin?" I could practically feel the whiny tone he was using.
"David, I don't want them to know." I warily signed, "Especially not the younger one. He goes to my school, David!"
"Oh, so you have met someone." I saw a smile begin to form on David's face as he turned back to the two guys in front of us. The confused look on both of their faces was priceless.
