Curiosity Killed The Hedgehog

When Lilli came out of the bathroom Blaze was sat cross legged on her bed hunched over her clipboard writing furiously. Maybe she was writing about how she heard her, Jackie and Electra talking about Amy and Wave. Out of simple curiosity, she tilted her head over Blaze's shoulder to see what she was writing. Blaze jerked and glanced sharply at her.
"Can I help you?" She asked sternly flipping her board over so it was out of Lilli's vision.
"Oh, sorry" Lilli shuffled away. She didn't feel she was giving a good impression with her new counsellor, along with the spider incident. Feeling down hearted she went outside. Electra followed after moving away from the door and looking over her shoulder.
"What was that about?" She whispered. Lilli shook her head.
"She didn't want me to see what she was writing I guess. Most be something private"
"Yes, but she didn't have to strangle her clipboard to keep it from talking" Electra pantomimed choking herself. "Blaze...killed...the clipboard! It knew to much!" Lilli laughed. Blaze's reaction had been pretty extreme. Maria joined them.
"Who killed what?" Lilli described what had happened as Yamilette joined the party.
"Maybe we was writing an incident report?" Yamilette suggested. "About what we said about being stuck with Amy and Wave"
"Let's not talk about it" Trinty said as she joins them.
"Alright, let's go eat!" Electra cried speed walking down the hill.
"Hey girls" Rouge said as she flew up the hill towards them. She looked at their cabin behind them. "I need to talk to Blaze but I'll see you later, okay?" She flew off but paused to add something extra. "Hey, I'm really happy to work with your group" She winked and carried on flying as the girls shared a grin. They continued to trudge down the hill. Lilli wondered if they'd be able to go on the hike tonight as thunderclouds rumbled in the distance. A owl hooted. It was in the middle of the day, owls should be asleep right? Lilli wasn't sure. Something moved inside the branches  of a pine tree as she passed it. She jerked before laughing nervously at herself. But she still felt she better stay on her guard.
