It all Goes Wrong

"And then the circus lions will eat us all!" Electra squeaked as loudly as she could and everyone screamed. Lilli burst into a fit of uncontrollable laughter. Yamilette joined in, shaking her fist at Electra.
"Fight it! Fight the urge to prank!"
"What are you talking about?" Amy demanded. Then Electra saw Trinty's eyes widen and glint with tears. Did Trinty think she was making fun of her? She darted over to Trinty and in her haste, she stepped on Amy's foot.
"Sorry." She said her attention on Trinty.
"Ow!" Amy grunted but Electra wasn't listening, she squatted beside Trinty.
"Trinty, i'm sorry."
"What's all this about lions?" Amy was making a huge deal of rubbing her foot.
"Didn't you hear Sonic at the cookout?" Electra croaked impatiently. Amy shook her head. "Long story, but it wasn't part of this story."
"Well it's a stupid story anyway." Amy growled. "And its made-up. If it's the dark secret, then it'll still be a secrect."
"What do you mean?" Sapphire asked from across the fire ring.
"You're all so stupid! Think about it!" Amy spoke slowly to the girls annoyance.
"Oh you're such a downer!" Electra said turning around to face her. "Can't you just play along? You always have to argue and you don't ever help the bunk! Like at dinner! You won't even wear your pjs and have a good time with us!" As Electra watched, something shifted in Amy's expression. Her eyes widened, then they narrowed and she clenched her teeth together.
"I would have, but I intruded on lil Miss 'keep fit' over there chugging." Everyone gasped. Jackie's mouth fell open. Amy blinked hard and her mouth set into a sharp line.
"On you are unbelievable!" Electra exclaimed.
"What's going on?" Blaze called from her place by the tents. She and Rouge quickly headed for the fire ring.  Amy got to her feet and pushed Electra out of the way.
"Hey!" Electra protested. Amy kept going.
"Amy!" Blaze demanded. "Where are you going?"
"To the bathroom!"
"Take a flashlight and a buddy!" Blaze called after her. But Amy sprinted and disappeared into the pine trees.
"Let her go!" Electra hissed. "We'll be lucky iof Cropsy gets her!"

Tears streamed down Amy's face as she left the campsite. She didn't want them to hear her crying, so she had ran. She was losing it. Why did things like this happen? Was she really such an awful person? How could have she said something so mean about Jackie? She sobbed harder and ran faster. The moon followed her but she outran it and pludged into the darkness. Mosquitoes surrounded her, weeping, she swatted at them, whirling in circles. She didn't care if they sent her home. She didn't care anymore. She started running again. Faster and faster. Her foot came down wrong and she zoomed down the slope, flinging out her arms in attempt to stay upright. She fell hard but kept going, skidding on her bottom. A low pine tree branch caught her ankle flinging her the other way. Her ankle twisted and she grunted trying to grab onto something as she rolled over. She slid onto something rough and level. It felt like a wooden plank. With a loud crack, it split down the middle beneath her weight. Then it gave away beneath her and Amy began to fall again, straight down, dirt and wood pelting her into the darkness.
