Interview
I woke up with a start. I groaned. It was interview day. I put on shorts and a shirt and stepped outside my room. "You're finally up!" Exclaimed Kalee. "Uh... How long have you been waiting there?" I asked. "Never mind that!"
She led me into a large room. A couple girls where designing a garment. "You're here!" One exclaimed.
"I'm Gem. This is Jewel!" Gem said pointing to the other girl. Jewel handed me a beautiful dress. "I think that will do!" She said. "Yes! It will!" I thought. After I got changed, I looked in the mirror.
I could hardly recognize myself! The dress Jewel had given me was turquoise, with little gems on the top.
Gem had given me a long necklace with a single ruby hanging from the bottom. I looked amazing.
Jake came out soon after. He looked uncomfortable with all the attention. The two Area 1 kids where interviewed first.
They just talked about all the training they had gotten and so on, basically just bragging. Then it was Jake's turn.
After, Caesar Flickerman called my name. I slowly made myself up stage. "Are you nervous Sarah?" He asked.
I looked around for Sarah, then I remembered. I was Sarah. "Um... Yes!" I exclaimed. He nodded. "Who are you fighting for?" He asked.
"M-my sister. Sara— Crystal!" I almost gave it away. "And my mom." I continued. Caesar nodded.
"Do you have a special strategy?" He intrigued. "Not really...." I started. "There has to be something!" He exclaimed.
I thought for a while. "I can dance a bit...." Caesar brightened. "Can you show us?" He asked. I put on a small show.
When I finished, the crowd clapped. "That wasn't that bad after all!" I thought to myself.
