Training
After the visits, Kalee guided Jake and I to our training room. I rolled my eyes as I saw the Area 1 kids throwing knives flawlessly. Jake and I where close behind, in Area 2.I saw Jake go for bow and arrow, I just stood there, clueless on what to do. I saw a long sword rested on a silver stand.
I grabbed it and it was surprisingly light. I went over to one if the practice dummies and swung at it. The blade clattered out of my hand and did no damage to the target.
"Here." Jake said, a bow and quiver slung over his shoulder. He picked up the blade and swung it. It sliced the dummy in two.
"Nice..." I said. Next, I headed over to the throwing knives place. It was infested with Area 1 kids. I grabbed the last knife from the shelf and threw it at the target. It landed a little out if the bulls eye.
I saw Jake practicing with his bow and arrow. I gritted my teeth, he was so good. I tried bow and arrow myself, I wasn't surprised when I missed the target with 30 arrows.
What skill would I do for the scores? I got the thought out of my mind and kept practicing knife throwing. I was decent at that.
After the horrible practice, we went back to our rooms. The rooms where very nice. That didn't cure my fear, though. I sighed and plopped down on my bed.
"What would I be doing now if I had let the real Sarah come?" I felt good for what I had done for my sister, because no one could tell is apart. Now, I felt worried.
I hated the idea of the capitol games. I mean... The capitol was supposed to be free. I fell asleep shortly after that.
