Meeting New Friends
Sapphire______
And as the final Abnegation dependent makes her decision - Amity - it's time to leave.
The Dauntless exit first, cool and calm. Not like them.
We take the steps to the exit, which is rather strange for me. Normally, the Abnegation offer us their place in the lift, and they take the steps. But then I realise something; taking the steps is only one type of act for Dauntless: a wild, and brave act.
And I'm right. Because they start running, screaming, shouting into the streets, blocking the buses and taking up the whole road. And as they climb up these orange stands onto the railway, I look up. Only the Dauntless use the train in the City. But this is my only way if I don't wanna be factionless. So I too climb. And everyone is able to make it to the rail.
The train approaches within a few seconds, and we start at a jogging pace, which speeds to a sprint as the first car passes. I climb on and press a button to open the sliding door, when I see someone struggling to keep up. I hold my hand out to her, and she grabs it, as I pull her in.
"Thanks," she says.
"Man, that was crazy," I tell her. "I'm Sapphire."
"Jackie," she says.
"Is it me, or are they trying to kill us?" I ask, and Jackie giggles.

______
Oh my God!
The train is approaching this bright roof - the only roof painted white in the whole city - and the Dauntless start to jump out the train and onto the roof one by one! This makes me nervous. I knew Dauntless had to prove their bravery, but this?
A Candor girl sees me shaking. "Are you okay?"
"Just nervous," I reply.
"Come on, three of us jump together," she says.
Wait, three of us?
An Abnegation girl then steps beside the Candor girl.
Oh, her. She's the only Abnegation transfer.
So the three of us grab hands, and jump together.
And just in time.
Another second, and we would have been either factionless, or dead.
"I'm Leat," I tell them.
The Candor girl then says, "I'm Sapphire, and this is Jackie."
I'm sure we'll be good friends through initiation.
If we can make it.

There's still more to come. And it's not just told from Jackie's view, oh no!
