One day a twelve year old girl named, Joy Anna, was going to enter an art compitition. She was a very talented artist, but she was so competitive. When she got to the compitition she saw all of the talented artists. She placed her art down on the table with her name on it. The winnners would be picked tomorrow, and she knew she had to make sure, she was the winner. The prize was a trophy and $150.
It was 1 o'clock in the morning. Joy Anna snuck out of the house and went to her school, where the art compitition was being held. She saw the other entries. They were so amazing. She went over to a clay pot. It was beautifully painted. She was only thinking of her self and picked up the pot. She threw it on the ground. She did that to all of the other things made of clay. She walked over to a painting of an elephant. The colors were so viberant and well expressed. She took one of the clay shards and tore the canvas. She did that to the rest of the paintings. She hid hers so it didn't look like she did it. She walked out of the school building and ran back home. She felt terrible for what she did.
The next day when all of the contestants were coming in, everyone was shocked. They all were gasping and gawking. Joy Anna's face fell red. She felt even worse. When Mr. Rupp was asking who did this, Joy Anna stepped up. She confessed what she did and was disqualified. She was grounded for two months by her parents and she had to clean up the ruined art. All of the other contestants got to re-enter. Joy Anna wasn't the most popular after that, and people weren't talking to her. She made up with them, but she still isn't allowed to enter an art contest until she's seventeen.
