The One They Called Frost

Fresh Start

It was about 7 AM in the article wilderness of the Ice Dimension; a light breeze passed by, as the sun was starting to rise at its peak from its long slumber.
Frost was curled up fast keep, as she felt a wet nose brush against her nose.
"Nnngh..." she groaned, as her ears flattened against her head and her body turned itself over.
After that, she heard a small bark and whine, obviously not coming from any mobian.
She turned around again, as her eyes shot open, seeing Misty pawing at her cheek with a sad, little pout.
A smile appeared onto Frost's muzzle, as she picked up the female polar bear cub, setting her down on her lap.
"Now I don't have to worry about an alarm clock anymore".
Frost chuckled to herself as her hand stroked the young cub's head.
"Maybe living here isn't so bad after all". Misty purred in affection and rubbed her nose against Frost's cheek. She smiled to this as Willow and Avalanche woke up. Frost stood up and stretched out. "Ahh..." she purred in relief. Avalanche barked at the rest of the cubs as to say; "wake up!" The cubs rose from their slumber and yawned. Willow nuzzled each one of the awakening cubs, including Frost. Frost blushed as her stomach rumbled rather loudly.
"I apologize..." she whimpered and looked down at her feet.
Avalanche tossed her a raw salmon as it landed beside her.
"Eek!" She yelped and jumped up slightly.
Frost was used to seeing cooked food, not raw creatures from the wilderness.
The cubs fought over a salmon, as Willow and Avalanche scarved down their own.
Frost looked down at the salmon, the salmon's eyes were bulging out and it jumped, gasping for breath.
Frost frowned at it.
"Poor thing..." Willow waddled over to her and helped her out with the salmon.
Frost couldn't just starve for the whole day and she took a bite from it.
"Hmm... it isn't so bad."
Willow walked away to groom the cubs.
Frost finished the salmon after a while, patting her stomach.
She was satisfied and full, maybe living like a wild animal isn't so bad. She could live like a polar bear for a while, right?
