Chapter 7 - Back To School
When Skittle went to school on Monday, she was going to be going into the junior class. She was both excited and scared. She was excited because it would be a whole new experience for her, but she was scared because Tara wouldn't be there to go through it with her. As she walked into her new classroom, the children from her old class who had moved up with her all stared at her because of the scene she caused on Friday. Her new teacher walked up to the front of the classroom."Right, everyone. The first thing we need to do is find you all a place to sit." she told everyone.
The teacher then put a diagram on the board showing who sits where in the classroom. Everyone was in groups, just like in her old classroom. And guess who she had the misfortune of being with.
Casper. Skittle had to put up with him for another year yet, and she was not happy about it. She groaned as she reluctantly sat opposite him at a small table. There were two other girls on the same table as her. Their names were Izzy and Jennifer.
The first lesson started. It was Maths, Skittle's least favourite subject. But she tried her best in the lesson anyway. In the middle of the lesson, Casper started to torment her.
"Ooh, Skittle. How are you going to survive without Tara there to help you?" he said in a stupid squeaky voice.
Skittle shot him a furious glare, but he carried on taunting her.
"You're going to be all by yourself. You're a loner, you know that." he said, sniggering.
Skittle wanted to tell him to shut up, but she couldn't be bothered.
"Skittle, Skittle, so weak she got knocked over by a bowling ball!" Casper sang, starting to kick Skittle under the table.
Skittle could feel the tears coming on. She had always been picked on, and it made her very upset.
"You're all alone, poor defenceless little girl." Casper said, laughing.
Then Skittle couldn't take it anymore. She burst into tears, little water droplets decorating the table.
"Aww, look, she's a crybaby as well as a loner." Casper jeered.
Skittle felt awful.

But I don't think you've seen the wall post about what happened on the trip. It was absolutely horrible. The teacher brought 20 other people on the trip who hadn't done anything at all. On the way there in the coach, I was forced to sit in a spare seat in a cramped area next to the door, and everyone else got proper seats, even though I was the See More only reason they were on the trip. I kept having panic attacks on the coach because I got really claustrophobic. And when we got there, the whole thing was just listening to authors talk about their books for three hours. It was so boring, and at the end of it, the teacher didn't even let us meet any authors. When someone asked the teacher if we were going to meet them, the teacher told them not to be stupid, even though it specifically said on the letter we were given that we got to meet all of the authors. And we got back to school just after lunch, when the teacher had said that the trip lasted all day.
I was so angry. . . :/
