My Oc's back story.

DNA test (this isn't bullet points like the other chapters.) (It is really long so no judgement if you don't read it)

It was a pretty tipical fight against Eggman. Shadow, Sonic, Tails, and all the others were fighting a robot Eggman had made.
"Ouch darn that hurt", Sonic said.
"It seems that Eggman finally made a robot you can't penitrate with you supper speed Sonic", Tails called out.
"Hmph this isn't as easy as beating some of Eggmans other robots." Shadow muttered.
Suddenly the robot shut down and fell over,
      "What the..." Tails started to say but than he saw it was Dusk she handed Tails a battery and said, "The power source of the robot"
"How did you get into the robot Dusk?" Tails asked
Dusk's simple answer was, "Chaos control"
Tails was going to ask more but she was already gone. He didn't know how to feel about Dusk he wished she would have stayed around a little longer to talk and was hurt that Dusk didn't seem to want to talk to him.
     Shadow walked toward him, "Don't feel bad Dusk needs a lot of time to warm up to people".
"So she is like you and pretends to hate everyone" Tails teased.
Shadow chuckled a little and then said "no me and Dusk are nothing alike."
As Shadow walked away Tails thought how much Shadow had changed if he had teased Shadow when he first joined the freedom fighters Tails would have suffered a kick to the stomach that left him winded. Shadow was still pretty mysterious but he was definitely comfortable being around Sonic and his friends.
      Tails remembered when he first met Shadow he suddenly realized  Shadow was created. Dusk hadn't been created she had been used as a base to recreate Shadow but she had always been a hedgehog, didn't that mean she had to have had a family?
Tails had been told by Shadow that Dusk's mother had put a spell on her and sent her to earth. Her family's town was bombed so her immediate family was definitely dead but what about the rest of her family? There weren't many hedgehogs either than her, Sonic, Shadow, and, Silver. Could she possibly be related to Sonic?
     Tails was curious he wanted answers badly what if they Dusk was family to Sonic maybe she would feel more comfortable around the Freedom Fighters if she was related to one of them. Dusk only showed up to a fight when she was needed so she usually did her own thing. No body knew where Dusk went when she wasn't helping fight with the Freedom Fighters. If Tails was going to find out if Dusk was related to Sonic he would need her DNA but how could he get it if he hardly ever saw Dusk and she almost never spoke to him?
Sonic ran over to Tails, "hey budy how ya doing?"
"Oh hi Sonic! I'm good. I was just wondering if Dusk could possibly be related to you. If she was she might feel more comfortable around the Freedom Fighters."
"Wow Tails that's quite the idea I would love to know the answer any way I can help you find out?"
"Only way I could find out if if you were okay with me taking one of your quills"
"No problem buddy here ya go." Sonic said as he handed Tails one of his quills."
"Thanks Sonic but for this to work I would also need to have one of Dusk's quills and she only shows up when there's a fight. Unless you know were she is?"
"Aww sorry man no idea were she is but I think Shadow might have her phone number. Want me to see if he would mind texting her to come over?"
"That would be great thanks Sonic!" Tails ran over to Sonic and gave him a hug.
Tails and Sonic walked over to Shadow who was on his phone and seemed to be texting someone.
"Hey Shad we think Dusk my be related to me and we need one of her quills to find out, Would you mind texting her to come over here?"
Shadow shook his head, "Sorry Dusk just texted me saying she is going on a mission to save some kidnapped Mobians and won't be able to come help the Freedom Fighters for the next few days."
Tails pointed out that even if Dusk was on a mission for a few days Shadow could still text her to come over when she was finnished with her mission.
Shadow nodded, "Okay I'll text her but don't be too disappointed when she says no."
Sonic and Tails watched Shadow typing out a text. A few seconds later there was a ping sound. Shadow raised his Eyebrows, "
   "she said she already finished the mission and can head over in a few minutes. Where do you want her to meet you?"
Tails looked at Shadow with an exited gleam in his eyes. "Tell Dusk to meet me and Sonic at my lab."
Shadow nodded, As he got another text from Dusk he paused for a second and then sighed and grumbled something under his breath that sounded like fine but you owe me.
He looked up as Sonic and Tails and said, "Dusk doesn't trust you enough to be alone in the your lab with you."
Tails looked down at his shoes sadly.
"But...She will come it I'm there'
Tails eyes lit back up, "Of course you can come!"
Shadow nodded," Dusk will be at the Lab soon we should start heading over there."
As they all walked toward the lab Sonic looked like he was trying really hard not to ask Shadow a question.
"Sonic if you want to ask something please just ask it. You look stupid trying to hold the question back." Shadow said
"Okay Shad, I want to know why Dusk seems to trust you more than the rest of the Freedom Fighters. Usually me or Tails are trusted first. you're not exactly friendly so why does she trust you so much?"
Shadow raised his eyebrows and smirked "You really think she trusts me?"
Tails piped up, "Yah, I mean your the only person we know of that has her number and the only person we have seen her willingly have a conversation with."
Sonic joined in, " Not forgetting she only agreed to come to the lab because your going to be there."
Shadow nodded, " I guess she does trust me a little more than the rest of you. It might be because I helped her out of the mind control Eggman had her under."
Tails started at Shadow for a minute before saying, " But I was the one who hacked the mind control rings to save her so why does she trust you more than me?"
Shadow shrugged, "We both lost someone close to us. I was also the first person in Mobius that wasn't afraid of her."
Tails looked at Shadow indignantly, " I'm not scared of her!"
Shadow laughed a little, " Then why do you shudder when you see her holding her pistol and why do your teeth chatter when you talk to her?"
Sonic, Laughed a little and said, "Shadow isn't wrong Tails you look visibly uncomfortable around Dusk."
Tails sighed, "I don't want to seem scared around Dusk I actually want to be her friend. she just gives me the feeling she is going kill me if I turn my back on her."
Sonic looked at Tails a little surprised, "Tails, Dusk probably feels the same way about us."
Shadow shook his head, " She may feel that way about you Sonic and most of the other but I think Tails reminds her of Dylan."
Tails and Sonic looked at Shadow and said in unison, "Who?"
Shadow shrugged, " If Dusk hasn't told you than I don't want to share anything she isn't comfortable telling people."
Tails, Sonic and Shadow arrive at the Tails' lab and walk inside.
Shadow looks up into the rafters than contiues walking.
Tails and Sonic look up as well and Tails yelps in supprise.
Dusk hops down from the rafters and hands Tails one of her quills.
"Ttthhhannkkss.." Tails stuttered still a bit scared from Dusk jumping down from the rafters.
Dusk nods and starts to leave but Shadow grabs her by the shoulder "you should stay till the results Dusk."
Dusk nods and leans against a wall as Tails starts the tests on the quills.
As Tails works he picks up a beaker to put a part of the quills into.
Dusk looks at Tails and says Dylan had those tube things in his lab.
"Sorry who?" Tails looks up in suprise that Dusk is talking to him.
"An old friend from earth" Dusk shrugs
Tails decides not to ask anything else about Dylan.
As he works he sees Dusk talking to Sonic and Shadow about Chaos control.
A little while later the DNA results are in and Tails calls everyone over to see the results.
"Sonic the DNA test says what we already know that Sonia and Manic are your only surviving family. Dusk your results say......." Tails's voice dyes away and Sonic's eyes open wide.
"Get on with it what does it say?" Dusk growls.
Since neither Tails or Sonic are answering Shadow grabs the results and says " Dusk you have a cousin"
Dusk nods and Shadow hands her the paper than she leaves.
As Dusk exits she hears Sonic yelling at Shadow. " Why didn't you tell her that her cousin is God damn Coldsteel. She is going to go find her cousin to find that he is a criminal who for all I know is still in jail."
Shadow repsonds calmly, " She has a right to go and meet her cousin and draw her own conclusions about him. She can take care of herself."
The next day Tails was walking down the street with Sonic they were going to get pizza and have a party that night with Amy, Rouge and Cream. As Tails walked into the shop Sonic waits outside to enjoy the sunny day. He looks across  the street to see a familiar purple hedgehog waiting at a table outside with two coffees clearly waiting for someone. The purple hedgehog is smoking a cigarette and clearly waiting for someone. As Tails walks back out of the coffee shop he sees the hedgehog too and shrugs,
" Sonic don't worry about it he isn't doing anything wrong let him be lets go."
Sonic shook his head and pointed to the second coffee.
"He is waiting for someone. What if he is meeting someone to plot something against us?"
"Sonic he probably is just getting coffee with a friend and might even be trying to start over from what he has done. We need to get to your how to get ready for the party lets go."
After Sonic and Tails left Dusk walks over to the table with the purple hedgehog waving her over.
She nods at him. "Coldsteel."
He nods back. "Trigger Dusk."
Coldsteel looks at Dusk, " Nice to see ya again. You wanted to tell me somethin'?"
Dusk nods, "Yah."
She hands Coldsteel the DNA results.
Once Coldsteel reads them he says, "Nice to see ya again cuz."
Dusk nods and sits down to drink the coffee.
"Want a cigarette?"
"Why not?"
