Josh sat in his seat still filled with thought. He knew something was up but couldn't put his finger on it.
"Hey Josh, you OK there?" The driver asked him.
"Is it just me or was that too easy?" Josh asked the driver.
"I don't really care, we got her that's all i care about" The driver said back.
Josh didn't say anything he just sat back. He reached over the side and grabbed his bow from the side of the car. He put it on his lap along with it's quiver. The trip had be going for about 3 minutes and they were still a while out. Suddenly. The car in front of Josh's was hit by a rocket and blocked the road. Josh reached for the door handle and pushed the door open. He held his bow in his hand and put his quiver on his back and turned to Jackie's car. Nope it was to late she was gone and left 3 guys knocked out. Josh reached for his ear piece "Jackie is on the move around Goktic road and I need back up asap" he said starting to run were he was sure she had gone. He ran down the roads and looks all over.
"Roger your last Josh sending back up your way and thermal shows her going down tkum street get her now" A woman on the ear piece said to him.
"Roger I'm on that road and I see here" He brook into a sprint and chased Jackie done the road. "Jackie stop now!" She kept running down the road. They were about even on speed due to Josh's legs and her suit. She started to run up some stairs and Josh stopped near them. he took a shot near her then ran up the stairs himself. They both got to the roof one after another Josh aiming his bow at her drawing it. "No were to run" He said to her. Jackie turned and ran towards the edge. Josh followed but Jackie jumped and landed on a nearby roof. This wasn't going to stop Josh however. He did the same and landed close to the edge. They both ran again but Jackie ran down some more stairs. Josh ran after her only to find she got in a car with some of her people. Luckily back up had got here.
A car drove up to Josh "Get in" said the driver. Josh didn't pause and got in the back. He looked in the back. A mark 4 suit. Just what he needed. The mark 4 was a suit that had a sort sleeve chest plate with full trouser legs. Josh put each piece on one by one. "Can you see them?" He asked the driver.
"Yeah we are right on em" The driver replied. Josh took an EMP remote grenade from the suit. He then got a grapple arrow from his quiver. He then got a small bit of tape. The driver looked back at him while he did. Josh taped the EMP grenade to the arrow.
"Get me close to them if you can" Josh said slowly getting up and going through the hole in the roof of the car. The driver turned back and went faster. Josh then slowly went to the front of the car and lent against the windshield. He drew his bow and had a small remote detonator in the side of the suit. He aimed at the back of Jackie's car. He focused. He let go of the bow and the arrow flew through the air. It hit the back of the car and went straight through the back. He then hit a switch on his detonator. Jackie's car went flying over and started to flip along the road. Josh jumped off the car and ran over to the car drawing his bow again. Jackie and 2 others got out. But before Josh could even react, 2 VTOL's came out of no were. Josh put his bow down and looked at the driver of the car.
"GO!" Josh shouted at him. The driver paused but saw something no one was expecting. Josh dropped his bow and put his hands behind his head. Jackie and the other two walked up to him. Josh looked at each one as the VTOL slowly landed. They all walked into the VTOL as the door opened. Josh looked back for a second and turned back. He took at seat in one of the seats.
"So that's it, no surprises this time?" Jackie said to him.
"No, no that's it" Josh replied to her. The VTOL took off and Jackie looked somewhat disappointed.
One of the others then said "Jackie thought you said this guy was good" The VTOL was now moving.
"I am" Josh said "I was just waiting" Josh stood up quickly and kicked one back. One of the others went to punch him. But he moved and slammed the side of his hand into his neck. Jackie then made a move taking a pistol out and aiming it at him. Josh ducked and spin kicked the pistol out of her hand. The other two got up and stood around Josh. He then smiled as the mask of his suit went over his face. Jackie and the other two all swung at him. Josh ducked and rolled backwards.
"Well I have to go" He was holding something in his hand. "And I'm taking this" One of the guys went to run at him but Jackie stopped him.
"It's all yours" She said with confidence and a smile.
"Oh it that it?" Josh didn't wait for an answer and jumped backwards out the back of the VTOL.
"Why did let him take it?" One of the guys said.
"Because if our plans going to work he needs to see whats on it" She replied to him.
Josh was in free fall just over the city. "think I'm an idiot" He pulled a detonator out of his suit. "'Cause I'm not" He hit the switch and the side of the VTOL blew open. Josh hit the ground with force. The VTOL was falling towards him. It hit the ground. Josh stood there with a cold look on his face as his mask opened. Jackie came out and was holding her bloody arm. "Well played" She said walking to him "Well played" she fell over and passed out. Josh court her in his arm and put his finger on his ear piece. "I got her" he said to the operator "I have Jackie" He said and slowly placed her on the ground.
"Roger that Josh VTOL is already on the way" The woman said.
"I'm sorry Jackie" He said to her "If I didn't have to make a choice between my team and bring you in" he looked up and waved at the VTOL. "I may have been on your side" He said and pick her up again and walked into the VTOL. He placed her down and sat down himself. But why did you give this up?" He asked him self and leaned against the wall. What was on the chip and what is Jackie's plan?
