Josh opened his eyes and saw. Nothing. It was just dark. But then he looked around. He saw Jackie and the man who had her as a human shield, he then saw himself taking the shot. The vision faded. He looked around again and saw the fight between him and her with his team laying around beaten down. He knew it was his fault. Suddenly he awoke. He looked around yet again. He saw his team in hospital beds.
"Ahh Josh your awake" Said a voice to his side. "Good" Josh turned around and saw Mr Wilson sat there next to him.
"Sir it was her and it was my fault" Josh said slowly.
"No Josh it was my fault i should have told you about her" He said with a calm voice.
"What do you mean?" Josh asked him.
"Jackie is a rebel against what we stand for" He said slowly "But Josh i don't have time for questions, she has been spotted in the night club near here. And i want you to hunt her down"
Josh looked at him and got out of the bed "gladly" he said to him.
"Good get changed into something, you know and met echo outside, your driving there" He said before standing and walking away.
This was a chance to get back for what Jackie had done to his team. Josh walked out and went to his room. He went in and walked to his wardrobe. He took out some simple trousers and a T-shirt. He looked at them before putting them on. He then looked at his hands. "I'll get her for what she did guys, I swear it" He said before walking out of his room and to the main doors of the building.
"Hey Josh lets go!" One of the echo team members said. Josh put on a jacket and walked over to a car. He slowly got in.
"You ready for this" The driver asked Josh.
Josh got a pistol and placed it under his jacket. "Yeah lets get her" He said and the car started to move. the journey for Josh was filled with thought about what he was going to do when he got there. The car halted. Josh's ear piece went off.
"Alright the plan is go in and find Jackie and deal with her as you see fit" Said the echo leader. ""But we have no Robo suits so be careful, now lets do this"
And with that  Josh got out the car and walked up to this huge building. He pushed the doors open and looked in. The place was filled with people 20 to 25 it was amazing. But Josh didn't have time he headed for some stairs and made his way up. He looked around hard and closely. Bingo! Jackie was sat at the upstairs bar. But Josh didn't wait or call for back up, he just walked over to the bar.
"Evening Jackie" He said as he sat down next to her.
Jackie looked at him with shock "Oh god dam it" she said quietly.
"It's alright i ain't going to kill you" He said leaned on the bar. "yet"
She laughed to her self and looked at him "What do you want then?"
"A moment to talk, do you have that?" He replied to her.
She laughed again "Please you think I'm going to trust you?"
"You ain't got a choice" He said with confidence. There was a loud gun shot as the door down stairs flew open. They looked at each other and ran to and down the stairs. They were standing in front of the down stairs bar when someone shouted.
"ALRIGHT I'M LOOKING FOR TWO PEOPLE" He yell out over the music. "Jackie-May Patterson and Joshua Smith" Josh and Jackie looked at each other and back to the guy shouting.
"NO" He yelled grabbing a girl by the hair. He put a gun to her head and shot her "Are they here now?"
"HEY RIGHT HERE" Josh yelled at him.
But the guy just yelled "OPEN FIRE" and the men he walked in with just shot at everyone and everything. Josh and Jackie dived over the bar side. they got up against it and took their pistols out. They looked at each other.
"Lets kill this guy" He said with anger and Jackie nodded. They both stood and Jackie ran off to the right side, while Josh stared to shoot. She then got up against a pillar and started to shoot and Josh ran to the left. They both started to shoot as people ran out of the club. They looked at each other and Jackie lifted her head up and Josh nodded to it. They ran up some stairs and ran across the top floor. Josh reached a door and kicked it open as Jackie got there.
"Go I'll be right behind you!" He yelled over the gun fire. Jackie listened and ran up the stairs in the room Josh had opened and Josh followed. They ran all the way up to the roof and Jackie busted through the door and ran onto the roof, Josh then closing the door as he came through. They were both out of breath and started to laugh. They fell and sat down of the roof.
"Oh my that was fun" Josh said to her "But who was that guy?"
"I don't know but hes sick" She said with disgusted. They both started to laugh again. "That's twice I have seen you and both times you have shocked me"
Josh chuckled and said back "Well you did the same". They both sat there and just laughed. But the peace was soon broken as a VTOL flew up and looked down on the roof with a mini gun aimed at them.
"One of yours?" Jackie asked Josh.
He gave his head a shake as he stood up again. They both looked at it.
"But I'll get rid of it" He said with confidence.
She just looked at him. Josh then ran off and towards the VTOL. Jackie followed with her eyes. Josh jumped and landed on the front of it. The VTOL started to move trying to get him off. Josh looked at the pilots. He waved with his free hand and aimed at one of them with his gun. Josh shot through the glass and killed one of the pilots. The VTOL started to fall. Josh turned and jumped off it and landed on the roof again. The VTOL crashed and blew up. Josh looked around Jackie was standing and waiting for him.
"Sorry Josh but you know I can't let you leave now" She said to him.
Josh almosted laughed "So you think your going to kill me just like that?" he replied to her.
Jackie took off her jacket to reveal a Robo suit "Yeah I do" it was a mark 3 it was designed to be able to give some more strength and speed but still be hidden. She dropped her jacket and clenched her fists.
Josh let off a sigh and readied him self. "That's not fair" He paused then said "But I'll live"
Suddenly she ran at him. Josh twisted his foot in the ground. She raised a fist and sent it his way. Josh then sent his leg upwards to block the punch. His leg blocked her punch and she was shocked again.
"H-how do you do these things?" She said lowering her fist and taking some steps back.
Josh lowered his leg and lifted the leg a bit to show her his mechanical legs "Never fight a guy like me one on one with or without a suit" he said with a cold voice.
But there was no time for a real fight. Echo team busted through the door and aimed their guns at her. "Don't move!" One said to her. But to Josh's surprise. She just gave up! She just put her hands in the air. Josh was in pure shock as echo put the cuffs on her and simple walked away. Josh didn't like it. He came for answers but just had more questions like, what the hell she was up to now? They all got in the cars again and drove off back to base. Josh looked at the car behind him with Jackie in it and thought. Who the hell are you Jackie!?
