"Wat?"

You laugh your ass off at Sans' reaction, clutching your stomach and collapsing on the ground gasping for air.

It was all in good fun until Papyrus stomps up to you and grabs the front of your shirt/jacket.

You stop laughing and look to Papyrus, who looked completely pissed.

"JUST WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?"

"U-um, w-what do you m-mean?"

"OH, WELL WHY DONT I SHOW YOU?"

He jerks your body to face Sans, who was now crying.

"YOU MADE HIM CRY!"

"w-why would you do that (y/n)? I thought... we were friends..."

You continue to stare at the crying Sans, while Papyrus continues to yell at you. What have you done?

"...n)"

"...y/n)"

"(Y/N)!"

You jerk awake from your day dream.

"What?"

You see Author holding out the lemon still, an annoyed look on her face.

"Well? Are you gonna do it or not?"

Remembering your daydream you quickly shake your head no.

Author sighs and tosses the lemon behind her, causing it to disappear in mid-air.

"Alright then, I guess I'll get going." She stuffs her hands into her sweater pocket and turns around to leave.

Quickly turning back around, she points to you and says, "Oh! Almost forgot! I got some words of advice for you."

She closes her eyes and her smile disappears.

"There's something bad that is going to happen. And I don't mean something stupid like losing a shoe, something devastating."

She opens her eyes, allowing you to see the tears starting to form.

"Look, as soon as your done with the puzzles, I want you to grab your boyfriend and future brother-in-law and get the heck out of here, because if you don't, well..."

A little frown tugs at her lips.

"As my friend always says, you're gonna a bad time."

She sucks in a breath and quickly smiles, saluting to you with her right hand.

"Later sucker!"

And with that, she's gone.

Just what did you get yourself into?

Time skip~

After you had collected your bearings and calmed your nerves, you continued along the path, and you spotted Papyrus up ahead. You slowly walked up to him and smiled weakly.

"H-hey Papyrus!"

He turns around and smiles at you. "HEY (Y/N)! YOU FINISHED THE PUZZLE YOURSELF, WHICH IS-"

He cut himself off when he saw your nervous demeanor.

"WHATS WRONG KIDDO?"

You shake your head, replying, "Nothing is wrong Papyrus! I'm just... excited! Excited to see Sans' next puzzle!"

He gave you a look that said, 'dont try that with me', and you sighed.

"LOOK KID, IF THERE IS ONE THING I'M GOOD AT, ITS READING BODY LANGUAGE, AND YOU'RE MORE TENSE THAN THE PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE COMBINED."

You laughed a little at the joke, feeling a little more relaxed. Sighing, you look at Papyrus I and ask.

"Do you know anyone who gos by Author?"

Papyrus tenses uo slightly, but shakes his head no.

"WHY DO YOU ASK KIDDO?"

You rub the back of your neck and begin to explain what she had told you, and Papyrus' eye sockets widened at what he had just heard.

"LISTEN KIDDO, THATS NOT TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY, YOU SURE SHE SAID THAT?"

You nodded your head, and he took you by the arm and teleported you to Sans.

"THEN LETS NOT WASTE TIME."

Another Time Skip~

You had completed the rest of Sans' puzzles and were now heading to
Snow-Din with the two skelebros. Papyrus had told you to act natural around Sans, as to not raise any suspicion about what you had just learned.

"so (y/n), now that you have completed all of my puzzles, it is time for you to face me!"

You stop in your tracks and look at Sans, confusion settled on your face.

"What do you mean?"

Sans chuckles and places his hands on his hips, Papyrus nervously watching the the encounter, but not stopping it.

"well (y/n), you have certainly proven yourself in puzzle solving, but if we are to truly be friends, i have to test your battle strategies too!"

And with that said l, you (f/c) soul was ripped from your body and thrown into battle.
