The Great... Sans? (Underswap! Sans X Reader)

Officially Meeting Sans

After sparing a couple monsters, finding a poor attempt to get dates, and receiving a storage space, you finally turn a corner and see Sans and Papyrus in the middle of a conversation.

"anyway, as i was saying about alphys-"

Sans cut himself off once he saw you approaching them. No one moved for awhile, so you just cleared your throat to remove some of the tension.

"Um, hi! My name is-"

"papyrus! is... is that a human?!" Sans cut you off, turning to his brother with stars in his eyes.

"YEAH, BRO... I THINK IT IS." He looks to Sans with a small smirk.

Sans gasps at this and begins to bounce on the heels of his feet.

"oh my god! papyrus! i finally did it! alphys will... i'm gonna... i'll be so... popular! popular! popular!"

Sans clears his non-existent throat and turns back to you, a small blue blush coating his cheekbones. God, you just couldn't handle the level of adorable radiating of this guy. And no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn't keep that ever-growing smile off your face.

"human!"

"(Y/N)." You corrected with a smile.

He was shocked at the sudden interruption, but quickly gathered himself and corrected his mistake.

"(Y/N), you shall not pass this area! i, the great sans, will stop you!" he places a hand to his chest and gives a triumphant look, "i will then capture you and deliver you to the capital! then, then! I... I'm not really sure what's next..."

He looks away slightly, a light blush on his cheeks once again. You giggled a bit at his embarrassed look, which caused him to blush harder.

"i-in any case! continue... only if you dare! mwehhehehehehehe!" And he ran away, stumbling a bit over his stubby legs.

Once he was out of sight, you completely broke out into laughter. Tears ran down your face from laughing so hard. Once you've calmed down, you turn to Papyrus and wipe some tears from your cheeks.

"Why didn't you tell me he was so flippin' adorable?" You questioned, giggling slightly.

Papyrus just shrugged his shoulders, a small smile on his face, "NEVER CAME UP."

You grin and make your way over to the next location with Sans but were stopped by Papyrus.

"THANKS FOR DOING THIS, IT'S GOING BETTER THAN I HAD EXPECTED."

You just shrugged your shoulders with a small smile, "Well, I mean, it's kind of hard to be so rude to such a cute little guy."

Papyrus let go of you and smiled, "WELL, BE CAREFUL KID. I'LL KEEP AN EYESOCKET OUT FOR YA."

He winked at you and walked away, leaving you all alone.

Letting out a contented sigh, you press forward, failing to hide the bounce in your step as you wondered what Sans had in store for you.
