Transgender and Transsexual

A transgender person is someone whose gender identity does not align completely with their biological sex. Gender is a scale from male to female, and does not rely on any factor other than the person's self image.

AFAB or DFAB : stands for Assigned Female At Birth or Designated Female At Birth; used to describe someone born with a female reproductive system
Agender : used to describe a person who identifies with no gender
AMAB or DMAB : stands for Assigned Male At Birth or Designated Male At Birth; used to describe someone born with a male reproductive system
Bigender : used to describe a person who identifies as more than one gender
Cisgender : used to describe a person who identifies as the gender they were assigned at birth
Demi Female : used to describe a person who identifies as mostly female
Demi Male : used to describe a person who identifies mostly as male
Genderfluid : used to describe a person whose gender depends on a seperate factor, such as their mood
Non-Binary : used to describe a person who identifies as other than completely male or female
Pangender : used to describe a person who identifies as as all genders
Transgender : an umbrella term; used to describe anyone who does not identify as the gender they were assigned at birth
Trans Male : used to describe a trans person who identifies as male
Trans Female : used to describe a trans person who identifies as female

Transsexual is a somewhat outdated term used to describe a person who has gone through sex reassignment surgery. Reassignment surgery is most often used by adult trans men and women who wish for their outward appearance to match their inside appearance. It is broken up into few stages over several years.

AFAB (Assigned Female At Birth):
Binding : a term used for when the breasts are tucked away to look smaller or appear non-existant; only to be done with specific binding tools
Bottom Surgery : often the last step in a permanent sex change; surgery in which the vagina is sewn together and a synthetic penis is created
HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) : often the first step in a permanent sex change; a person is given hormones to increase the level testostorone in the blood, which will lead to male-pattern hair growth, enlargement of the clitoris, and other changes
Packing : a term used for when a person creates a synthetic penis-like buldge; done with folded socks or a soft dildo
Top Surgery : surgery in which both breasts are removed completely to leave a flat chest

AMAB (Assigned Male At Birth):
Bottom Surgery : often the last step in a permanent sex change; surgery in which the penis is tucked inward to create a vaginal opening
HRT : often the first step in a permenant sex change; a person is given hormones to increase the level of estrogen in the blood, which will lead to a higher voice, developing breasts, and other changes
Stuffing : a term used for using a bra and pads to create synthetic breasts; can be done with cups or specific bras
Tucking: a term used for when the penis is tucked away to look smaller or appear non-existant; only to be done with specific binding tools

There is a difference between Asexual and Aromantic. Asexual means that they do have a romantic bond but don't wish to have intercoursw. Aromantic means no romantic feelings. But Aromantics can still be interested in intercourse, just not romance.
