Goldpaw gets into a fight.
Goldpaw said goodbye to Willowpelt then padded into the nursery to check on her fluffy kit.“How is he?” Goldpaw asked, touching noses with Brindleface.
“Healthy good Kit.” Brindlekit replied. “How was your training?”
“Training with Willowpelt is amazing!” Goldpaw replied. “She is so awesome!”
“That’s good.” Brindleface said, nodding.
“Can I lick my kit for a while?” Goldpaw asked. “I haven’t got to spend time with him since training with Willowpelt started.”
After Brindleface nodded Goldpaw took her kit by the scruff then set him down.
A few minutes later Fireheart went into the nursery.
“Hi Brindleface! Hi Princess!” Fireheart greeted.
“That’s Goldpaw to you, Rusty!” She snapped.
“Jeez, I’m sorry.” Fireheart said, stepping back. “Still not used to calling you Goldpaw.”
“That’s okay!” Goldpaw replied.
“How is Longtail and the others treating you?” Fireheart asked, laying down next to Goldpaw.
“Longtail and Darkstripe still call me a kittypet.”Goldpaw replied. “But Tigerclaw seems nice.”
“Tigerclaw?” Fireheart asked, Surprised.
“Well, he doesn’t bully me.” Goldpaw replied. “So I guess he is being nice to me, you were there when Tigerclaw congratulated me for standing up to Longtail and Darkstripe.”
“Yeah, I guess so.” Fireheart nodded. “Welp, Imma hang out with Graystripe.”
“Okay, have fun!” Goldpaw said, licking her kit.
Fireheart nodded then ran out of the nursery.
“Imma go tell Bluestar how my day went.” Goldpaw said, bringing her kit back to Brindleface.
“Ok.” Brindleface replied.
As soon as Goldpaw padded out of the nursery, she saw Longtail.
“Kittypet! Kittypet! Kittypet!” He chanted.
Feeling anger inside of her, Goldpaw went up to him.
“I’m not a kittypet!” Goldpaw said, yelling in his face.
That caught attention to other cats around them, including Fireheart, Graystripe”
“You are a kittypet!” Longtail sneered. “Just like your loser kittypet brother.”
Fireheart was now filled in anger as soon as Longtail said “Loser Kittypet Brother” He wanted to give Longtail a piece of his mind, but Graystripe said not to get involved.
“If you call me or Fireheart or even my kit a Kittypet again, you will regret all of it!” Goldpaw hissed.
“What are you gonna do?” Longtail asked. “Hit me with your lame kittypet skills?”
Blinded by anger, Goldpaw reached out her paw and clawed Longtail’s head. Leaving him a great big scratch on his ear. The crowd of cats gasped with disbelief as Goldpaw clawed Longtail again. She was still so mad that out of nowhere she pinned Longtail to the ground. When Longtail managed to kick Goldpaw off of him, Longtail bit her back leg. In pain, Goldpaw kicked him off then pinned him again. In the distance she saw Willowpelt in shock. Goldpaw smiled at her, thinking she was impressing her, but all Willowpelt did was give a sad look and shook her head. Then Goldpaw remembered what Willowpelt said at Sandy Hollow. “Don’t hurt your clanmates, they will help you get through.”
After that memory Goldpaw looked around at the terrified cats, even Darkstripe was a little surprised.
“What is going on here!?” Bluestar yelled, getting through the crowd with Tigerclaw.
“Get off of him, Goldpaw!” Tigerclaw ordered.
Feeling guilty, Goldpaw got off of him with her head down.
“This cat is trying to kill me!” Longtail said, in rage.
“Hush, Longtail.”Bluestar ordered. “Go to Yellowfang so she can fix up your wounds. Goldpaw, you go in after Longtail so Yellowfang can find something to heal your leg.”
“It’s over! Get lost!” Tigerclaw hissed at the crowd.
The large disappeared in two seconds.
“Goldpaw, come with me.” Bluestar said.
