The Return
Lucy's parents sprinted into her dark room. She heard the click of the light switch before a blinding bright light shone in her eyes. She covered her face with a pillow to prevent her eyes from being damaged by the rays. Lucy's parents stumbled to the side of her bed. "Is...everything...alright?!" Lucy's father asked between breaths. "Everything's fine" Lucy mumbled "Besides the fact that I just lost my best friend after he turned into some crazy weirdo who tried to sleep with me!" "Oh my god!" Lucy's mother exclaimed. She threw her arms around Lucy and cried into her shoulder. Her father just stood there. "How..." He asked in an astonished tone. "I don't know." Lucy replied honestly. "Well, he's never coming here ever again!---
Everything was fine for those two weeks after the drama. Lucy had no friends, and spent most of her days in the park reading her book, but she was happier than she was a few weeks ago. "Excuse me?" A stranger asked Lucy. "Mm..oh, sorry, yeah?" Lucy responded while trying to stop reading. "Umm.. Do you know how I can find the lake?" It was a teenage boy who was asking her. Around sixteen. "Oh, yeah, it's right around the corner, on the left!" "Thank you!" "Don't mention it!"
