Steven heard a knock on his door."Who is it?" Steven asked.
"It`s me, Lapis" Lapis Lazuli answered.
"Come on in then!" Steven said as he opened the door for her.
"So, uh, this is your place?"
"Yeah!"
"My old place, when I was trapped in that mirror a while back, was a room. It had a huge mirror where I could see the outside. Like when I saw you, Steven. There was also a little bit of water surrounding the mirror. It was lonely, until I meant you."
Steven showed a little smile on his face. He was happy that Lapis Lazuli thought of him as a friend.
"Well, I`m glad I meant you too." Steven said as a smile grew on his face.
Steven guided Lapis Lazuli to the couch.
"Are you okay?" Steven asked her.
All of a sudden, Lapis buried her face into her arms.
"I failed you, I couldn`t protect you!" Steven could overhear her saying.
"Lapis, you could never fail me. Haven`t I told you that before? Lapis Lazuli, I forgive you. You tried. Imagine what would`ve happened if you didn`t."
"Steven...thank you. You did everything for me. You never met me, but you still did everything for me. No one`s cared for me that much, not even your mother." Lapis said as she raise her head.
"Maybe, we can just talk. Maybe you can tell me a little bit more about you." Steven asked.
"Okay. Well, should I start from the beginning?"
"Yeah!"
"Okay, here goes."
