Gems
A Gem is a magical being. Each Gem has a unique weapon. Every Gem can fuse, shape-shift, and reatreat to their gem if badly damaged. Almost every Gem known is named after their gem. (The only exception, of course, is Steven.) Gems can live a long time until killed. They cannot die from old age. One of the only ways to kill a Gem is to shatter their Gem completely, but even then their body parts could come back...
