Return
Slowly, after Cana had departed, the rain began to cease. The crashes of thunder faded to soft rumbles as Sonata sat huddled by the fire. Along with the storm his harsh thoughts had slowly began to leave. He greatly hoped that Cana would not take his words to heart. For hours thats all he could think about. His pensive thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. Sonata's fingers twisted around the knob and he opened it, glancing at the figure outside. A strange man; Cloaked in shadows, with a twisted metal sword and glowing crimson eyes. Eyes that pierced Sonata's soul. Eyes which he somewhat feared."Take me to the field... Please...", the wanderer pleaded. "It'd make the princess proud."
Sonata hesitated. Cana. The white gowned princess, so hurt by his sharp tongue.
"Follow me."
Sonata headed out towards the field. Despite the fact that the storm had ended, eerie dark clouds remained in the sky. Strange. Usually, those clouds would have been gone by now. He pushed that thought aside as he lead the stranger to the place he wanted to be. The young man faltered as he noticed another person in the distance. Staring into the sky's dark atmosphere, clothed in a sleek dress; Sonata had no doubt. That had to be Cana.
He quickened his steps, dashing towards her a small the shadow-clad man followed behind. Cana turned around, her wide eyes sparkling as she saw the two people standing there.
Suddenly the stranger lowered his hood, leaving Sonata and Cana in shock.
