Victory Tour
"Dawn! Get up, it' Victory Tour Day!" My mother yelled.I yawned as the words registered.
Victory tour!
I quickly got up and got dressed.
I spent a few minutes on my makeup.
I went downstairs and grabbed breakfast.
"Don't forget your suitcase Dawn." My father called.
"Thanks" I replied and grabbed it.
"We'll miss you, good luck." My mom said.
"I'll see you in a few weeks." I said and headed out the door.
Outside, I waited for Tristan and Gemma to come.
After a few minutes the two of them arrived.
Trailing behind them were two girls I'd never seen before.
"Dawn, Tristan, I'd like you to meet your assistants for the Victory Tour!
They're not avoxes, they were given the opportunity and willingly took it." Gemma said.
I looked at the two girls.
The first one had fair skin, and long black hair with bright red streaks.
"I'm Aria Summers." She said with a smile.
"My name is Skylar Woods." The other one said
Her hair was a golden brown with blue and green streaks.
"Nice to meet you! I'm Dawn." I said.
"I'm Tristan." Tristan said.
With that, we headed off to the train.
"Your first stop is Area 2 since you and Tristan are from Area 1." Skykar explained.
"You'll have to talk about the games, and I know that's hard for you." Aria added.
Tristan and I both nodded in acknowledgement.
"So... I guess we should get to know each other." I said.
"Well, I do have some questions about The Games." Skykar said.
"Well, go ahead and ask." I replied.
"Are you and Tristan REALLY in love?" Aria interjected.
"Well in the arena I'm not sure if we were really pretending or not,
all I know is that we got together for real pretty recently." Tristan said.
"Are you nervous about the Victory Tour?" Skykar questioned.
This time, I answered.
"Well, sort of. Tristan and I DID kill a lot of tributes. Though it WILL be cool getting to tour The Capitol." I said.
"Why were to two chosen to come?" I asked.
"Well, we were chosen by lottery. You had have to pay to be in the lottery.
You wouldn' t believe how many people wanted this opportunity." Aria answered.
"Well I look forward to the Victory Tour. You two seem really nice!" I said.
"Thanks." Skylar said.
Skylar and Aria seemed really nice!
